We had a positive experience. Got there 15 minutes before our reservation and they were able to accommodate. The ambiance is good but was disappointed when saw that the top of our chairs were ripped. It looked really bad. The food was good but not exceptional. Service was also good but not exceptional. Some smiles and kind words go a long way. The price was reasonable for the food we ordered. I would consider going back if we are in the Middlebury area.
This place is truly a gem! It’s our go-to spot, and if I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. The customer service is always top-notch—it’s so nice to see familiar faces every time we visit. I can’t believe I haven’t left a review before now! The food is consistently excellent, and the menu offers such a wide variety of choices, which is rare for a small, locally owned restaurant. Highly recommend!
Fire & Ice is would absolutely be a restaurant where it would be logical to have a dress code! The decor makes this a true upscale dining experience (for Vermont, anyway). The food is always excellent (I always get the North Country Burger with the maple bacon dry rub) and the service is quick and friendly. It's on the more expensive side but still very reasonable for the quality. It usually runs us about $50 for a two person meal with two drinks. The atmosphere and decor...
