We were traveling from Stowe in search of a great restaurant for lunch. Along the way, we came across several options and were fortunate to discover the Nepalese Himalayan Food Eatery, which had received excellent reviews. I had never had Nepalese food before, so wasn't sure what to expect but it was pretty tasty. I had the beef curry special and it was pretty good. Don't let the location in the gas station fool you!
We had no idea we were headed for a gas station when we drove to Nepali Cuisine. We didn’t even know it was take-out only. In the end, our meals were okay, not great. Not one of the dishes had any real vegetables, so Nepali wouldn’t be sustainable on a long-term basis. In our case, we ordered the chicken curry (again, no vegetables) which was decent, but not worth stuffing ourselves to finish.
