Great service from our waitress. Food was good though I agree it is definitely priced high.The fact that they slyly left a tip for themselves without our permission, when we were going to give more than what they automatically charged us, left a bad taste in our mouth. Completely disrespectful. Though I understand some cultures may be different, I’m sure that’s not the policy in Switzerland.Overall, I would not go again but I did not hate it.
We had cheese and beef fondue. The beef fondue was made with thin strips of tenderloin steak formed into small rolls for convenient cooking which were tender and delicious. Chicken broth was used instead of oil, resulting in a very pleasant texture and taste. The cheese fondue, made from an authentic Swiss cheese. Our kids loved the cheese fondue (without alcohol - you can request it) The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The ambiance made us feel we were back in Switzerland....read full review

Our favorite restaurant in Stowe! Service is always amazing and the gluhwein is so yummy and comforting after a long day of skiing. Our favorites are raclette, bundnerfleisch, cheese fondue, and the chinoise beef tenderloin, but everything is delicious! Always a must when we go to Stowe!
