Very good.
I cannot say enough about our experience at Carpenter and Main. The food was fantastic, the service was fantastic, the atmosphere is great - relaxing, attentive service but not overly so. The 4 of us enjoyed each others company without feeling rushed or interrupted. It was the feeling of being in someone’s home.

We all ordered apps, mains and dessert. We don’t typically order dessert but when we saw it was homemade ice cream we had to try it. It did not disappoint....read full review

The Victorian-inspired dining rooms provide a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, making it a great spot for special occasions like anniversaries. The ambiance has a charming, quaint vibe that immediately feels welcoming, and the multiple rooms plus bar area allow guests to choose their preferred setting—whether quieter or livelier. The food is consistently praised for being amazing, with a variety of appetizers, mains, and homemade ice cream for dessert. Guests enjoy attentive and friendly service, with the bartender Johnny receiving special mention for his talent. The wine list is good, and the atmosphere is comfortable enough to hear conversations without issue. Although decor can be eclectic, the overall experience is highly recommended and worth a visit from near and far.
