“Chester’s is easily the best fried chicken in the state. It rivals some of what i have had in new orleans and texas. The biscuits are incredible. The sauce is great. This place is a GEM. Yes, its at a gas station. But its a really nice gas station. Get over here immediately and celebrate the fact that vermont finally has quality fried chicken. And, yes, this is better than MLC.“

“My wife and I stumbled along going to different pubs in Chittenden county VT. and found an absolute GEM of a place in Essex Jct., VT. That joint is known as Park Place , Best wings ever, Best Chili ever and other amazing food , all at reasonable prices. An amazing staff, Chelsea, Mike, Gage, Heather ,Alyssa ,Jason . Travis It reminds me and my wife of the show “Cheers” All the patrons are extremely friendly. To us, it’s like part of our family.. “I ordered 2 medium pepperoni pizzas. I’ve NEVER got a basic pepperoni pizza with this much pepperoni! It was a beautiful thing to see not one BUT two pizzas cooked to perfection with a decent amount of its topping! I always get fast delivery as well and the one time it was expected to be late I received a call stating there was a possibility of a late delivery-it arrived on time. 😊 5 Stars to the Essex Location.“
