“For a museum cafe, surprisingly good! Came in with low expectations as the café is a ‘grab and go’ style place, but they had a few different options of soups, fruit salads, sandwiches, and snacks! I had the ham and cheese panini which was very good! It’s somewhat pricey, but that’s to be expected from a restaurant at an attraction. The dining area fits the old-style vibe of Shelburne, too. Will be back to the museum soon and will have lunch here again!“

Wow. Bread, yogurt, meat, coffee, bread, and the bread... all top notch. Did I mention the bread?

Line was literally spilling into the street for over an hour on Sunday. Service was FAST, friendly, and was absolutely cruising. The locals know it, and now so do you.

Perfect place if you like a breakfast sandwich or avocado toast start to your day. The grilled biscuits were BANGIN.“

“I had a wonderful experience at Burlington Bay Market & Cafe last week while visiting Burlington’s beautiful waterfront. One of the highlights was indulging in their famous creemee – a Vermont classic! I opted for the Black Raspberry Creemee, and it was absolutely delicious. The texture was perfectly smooth, creamy, and refreshing, making it the perfect treat on a warm day.

In addition to the dessert, the food was equally impressive. The menu offers a nice variety of fresh and flavorful options, and everything we ordered was prepared perfectly. “my sister and I went to the Garden Of Eatin' when we where in town for the eclipse and it was such a wonderful experience! despite the boom in tourists this location must be a hidden gem because it wasn't crowded at all! it was so nice to get a sandwich and soup and sit in the greenhouse. one of the lovely people who worked there and thought we had kids with us and said they where going to see if we wanted to feed the koi, and despite not being a kid I hopped on that opportunity to feed them and it was so fun! the plants are absolutely well cared for, and the staff are all very friendly! we will absolutely be coming back next time we are in the area!!“

“My family and I were in town and saw online they serve halal meat so we placed a large takeout order. The process was seamless and efficient. There’s parking in the back and the person working there was friendly. The grilled beef banh mi and grilled chicken banh mi were great, as were the beef sambusas. I definitely recommend this place, especially since it’s not so common to find halal Vietnamese food.“

“staff is very nice. they seem understaffed/very busy a lot of the times. I recommend, if you place an order for pick up, to come earlier than the time. Sometimes I come right on time, and its already cold, which if you get fries, they wont be the same after the microwave. it is understandable but that is just some feedback as room for growth. everything else, im happy with and come here quite often.

Parking: on weekdays, it can be quite easy to find parking around lunchtime.

Paid $16 in total for one cup of mushroom barley soup, one personal veggie pizza with pesto, and 2 cake slices (triple layer chocolate mousse; Italian Cream Cake … neither were too sweet). “Carrier has a nice little corner on the way into Jake's ONE Market in Burlington's North End. The barista was friendly and answered our questions about the various beverages available. I had a single-origin drip coffee that was bright and delicious. My wife had the GOAT, which consisted of espresso, milk, caramel, and some sea salt. Something like this could have easily been too sweet or salty, but instead it was perfectly balanced. I wish I had purchased some of their roasted coffee to take home.“

“Just found this place while walking up and down Church St. So happy I did. Walk in and order at the counter. The employee was super nice and friendly. They have lots of sandwich options or you can build your own. The sandwich was massive! $13 with a bag of chips and it was well worth the price. I had turkey with fixings and the meat was half the sandwich. They do not skimp! It was exactly what I was looking for. I only had half because it was so big, so easily shareable if you like that. The leftovers were just as good!“

“When in the area and you need that on stop to satisfy even the pockets and most adventurous in your group - this is the sandwich shop to go to. They have an excellent selection of staple sandwiches but you can also make your own.
Heads up on the size of sandwiches - if you are not an athlete go with a half; unless you also want leftovers. That's what I do. The freshest ingredients make this a good "grab to go" option as well.“

“Got 4 Takeout hot subs, All came out fantastic fresh ingredients, If you get the large you better be hungry. The Fire-Cracker is probably one of the best sandwiches ive had in a long time. The 2 chicken sandwiches were both larges and it was about 2 meals worth of food...

My only thing is: 1 Large with Chips for 17.50 is a bit steep but not too bad if you include the 2$ bag of chips. So you basically have to pay for the chips even if you dont like kettle chips. (which i love and buy frequently) If i could buy the sandwich for 15$ alone i would much prefer that. But this kind of moves the chip product so it makes sense.“

Found Williston Coffee Shop and immediately felt like I was in the right place. Staff was friendly and polite, wearing masks and keeping customers safe. Food was so amazing and fresh, and coffee was awesome! I’m so glad the first place didn’t work out, because my tomato basil egg sandwich was incredible. I know it’s hard right now, but you guys are doing a great job keeping everyone safe with your extra protocols, and it shows. “We have been coming here since 1986 when it was a tiny spot that let us teenagers sit and drink coffee all day. They are one of Burlington’s oldest and most loved restaurants, known for their early bird Bistro dinner that serves French classics like Beef Bourgignon, Steak Frites and even gluten free Cavatappi Carbonara. Tonight it was snowing hard and the restaurant was still full and the service was terrific. It’s our go-to place for the last 35 years and I’m grateful they are still around.“

“My local Panera in Oneonta, NY, is wonderful meeting spot for coffee and lunch dates with friends. But the SOUTH BURLINGTON VT location is where my nephew works. He was hit by a truck on Thursday right in front of the cafe, and the first person to comfort him was Robin! She and ALL the staff at that location have done SO MUCH to help us get thru. We are amazed at how well the organization takes care of its staff. We are awestruck by the love. What an amazing group of people!“
