“Where to start!? We went for breakfast recently and it was fabulous! I had the Spanish omelette with whole wheat toast (it had sunflower seeds of which I love!) and home fries. Husband ordered one of his favorite breakfast meals, the sausage gravy on biscuits. He said it was one of the very best he’s eaten. And we have traveled across the country. Our waitress was very attentive and the chef prepared our dishes as instructed. We asked for a few tweaks to get them just the way we love them. The serving sizes were quite large. Therefore I enjoyed my delicious breakfast two mornings in a row. Win, win! We wanted to give a shout out to The Junction as we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts. Thank you!”

“Rode motorcycle here from Delaware, the road to get in is all rock so be careful! The beer was great and they had a couple stouts which I love. View was great and live music was good.”

“I had never heard of Chowhound Smokehouse before but when I spotted their food truck on 242, I knew I had to give them a shot. We didn’t expect much but to our surprise, we were blown away by the quality of the food and service. BBQ usually has a rustic look which is charming in its own way. However, Justin Heller put quite an effort to the presentation. Our cornbread was cut precisely in a triangle shape and seared with butter until the surface was brown and crusty. The brisket was sliced neatly and the ribs!!!! Goodness gracious, the ribs had brown crust on the outside but incredibly melt-in-your-mouth tender throughout. I had no idea how he did it. I was so busy chowing all down I forgot to ask. I think I’ll have to go back. Also, we cannot forget Rae. Rae, the front of the house was so pleasant, friendly and accommodating from beginning to end. Great work and teamwork, Justin and Rae. Thank you so much for the scrumptious experience. The bang bang shrimp, pork gyoza, and tuna volcano were all highlights, each bursting with flavor. The salmon poke bowl was fresh and vibrant, while the pork katsudon was a unique and satisfying choice. Throughout our meal, the service was attentive and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhanced our dining experience. It's evident that both the waitstaff and kitchen crew take pride in their work, as every aspect of our visit was met with enthusiasm and care. “The waiters are not enough to serve everyone when it is busy. The food itself is okay and size is pretty big! If you are not hungry, it is better to share with your friends. The nacho is recommended. Burger is fine, the chicken quesadilla is a little bit too salty.Have breakfast there two days as well, in general it is good except the fruit is not fresh and smells not good.”

“We had a great experience at the clubhouse. Our bartender Cary-Lynn was outstanding. She is very personable, enthusiastic, and cute. She cared for us. Additionally, the burgers and onion strings were very good. They also had live music on Friday night. It was a good vibe!”

“Nice thin crust pizza, made fresh (20 minutes) with ample toppings. Accessible from the stairs to the Tram and from 1st floor of Hotel Jay. $20 for a large 16” pizza. A serve yourself type joint with about 8 tables.”

“We went here on our first night at jay peak. Didn’t expect much as options are limited on a ski hill, however we were pleased surprised with the food. We ordered the thai chilli wings and loaded fries. The portions were enough for two- three people to share. 9 wings for $18 and a good serving of fries. The fries were cheesy with a nice amount of meat and they were really good when they were hot. The wings were piping hot when they arrived but overall had a nice flavour and were cooked well.”

“This was a great spot to grab some lunch at Jay to warm up between our runs. We got some pretzel bites to start and were SHOCKED at how many there were for the price! It was a huge basket! It came with cheese and mustard, I love cheese so that was great, mustard- I could personally pass because I'm not big on mustard. The pretzel bites were chewy and salty! I got the salmon burger which was tasty with a kimchi topping. It came on a brioche bun which was tasty, but I ended up not eating it because I had filled up on the pretzel bites! The staff is super friendly and it's a very relaxed atmosphere.”
