“I had the pleasure of dining at The Left Bank for my birthday, and without question, it was the best meal I’ve had in decades. Since moving to Vermont, we’ve struggled to find restaurants that meet our standards — most places have been disappointingly mediocre and overpriced, leaving us to cook at home more often than not. As self-proclaimed food snobs, we had nearly given up on dining out entirely.
Then came The Left Bank.
From the moment we sat down, every bite was exceptional — from the warm roll served at the start, to the vibrant beet salad, to what was quite possibly the most delicious chicken I’ve ever tasted. It was perfectly seared, expertly seasoned, juicy, and served with a crisp, golden skin that was nothing short of perfection. I still can’t stop thinking about it.
The cocktails and desserts were equally outstanding — and with the news that they’re opening a bakery across the street soon, we are already counting the days.
This level of quality, care, and execution is what you’d expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. In fact, The Left Bank absolutely deserves that level of recognition.
Our dinner for two, which included four cocktails, two salads, two entrées, and two desserts, came to $300 with tip. Pricey? Perhaps — but in this case, it was worth every penny. You truly get what you pay for, and we’ll happily return again and again.
The Left Bank delivers what so many places promise but rarely achieve — a truly unforgettable dining experience. Bravo.”
“All I can speak of is my experience, and no one else's. But... best ice cream I have ever had in my life! Maybe there's better places out there; but so far: this was the best ice cream I've ever discovered. Tempted to come back to Vermont just to revisit this place.”

“Had one of the most enjoyable meals ever. Farm fresh, imaginative food and libation. The jubilee was the best cocktail I have had in my entire life. Corn soup with lobster was sweet and succulent. Entrees full of flavor .. The wine pouring complemented each courser perfectly. And the service was perfection… Warm and welcoming. Made to feel like old friends. Can’t wait to go back.”
“Was at Esmeralda’s Pachamanca dinner gathering. A truly life experience. Maria Rondeau and JuanMa Calderón’s experimental restaurant breaks new ground in F2T eating. A must on any real foodees checkbox”

“A cozy place serving the best hot chocolate and grilled cheese in the area.
We got a Phoebe sandwich for my husband, which was good but the portion size can be definitely improved.
Great place to get a quick bite.”

“One of the best, if not the best, cherry 🍒 pies I’ve had. Tart fruit and must’ve been a lard crust. Good selection of frozen items too. Sorry we didn’t bring a cooler.”

“Fun treat for the family on the piste. Note that beverage prices have gone up from the 23-24 season. Water was $6, coffee, hot chocolate, apple cider (very good BTW), tea, soda, sports drink, and energy drink had all gone up a dollar. We get it, skiing is expensive and you're never going to get a deal at a lodge when it comes to food, but it's getting a little ridiculous.”
“Super friendly atmosphere with good prices and a great selection!”

“I don't know what else to say, besides best Waffles, hands down. I'm specifically referring to the one on the Clock Tower side that's between the green trails, just above sunburst six lift. It's $7, so that's ridiculous, but still eat one.”

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! My daughter and I had a lovely meal at a nice size table for two! Our waitress was amazing (I wish I could remember her name)! The whipped goat cheese appetizer and butternut squash soup were absolutely delicious and my daughter said the same about the lamb stroganoff! My cocktail was yummy, albeit on the small side (for the price). We can't wait to go back when the weather is warm enough to sit outside with a view of the lake!”
