19 South Main Restaurant Reviews
On a motorcycle vacation with 13 of us, we make it a point to stop here for great food and atmosphere. The Chicken Parmigiana is delicious! My husband had the Brussel Sprouts and Margarita Pizza, Amazing!! Great to visit with Steph! We will always stop here when traveling through Vermont!
We sat at the bar with Sandra and she was amazing! She was awesome to chat with, great recommendations and service was top notch. The short rib poutine fries were to die for!! We’ll definitely be back to see Sandra!!
Had an amazing time. The basil spritzer, the short rib poutine, and the service was incredible. They offer outside dining right on the river. There’ are games to play, and over all just a great place to go for a good hang out and meal.

The 19 South Main Restaurant in Wilmington is a charming dining spot that offers a welcoming atmosphere and a menu filled with tasty dishes. Guests can enjoy well-crafted drinks and savor items like roasted Brussel sprouts, Baja crispy shrimp, eggplant parm, short ribs with garlic mashed potatoes, and barbecue St. Louis-style ribs. The restaurant's owner, a chef from Manhattan, has created a friendly environment with outdoor dining by the river, along with excellent service. Customers often praise the friendly staff, incredible burgers, brick oven pizza, and the local music played on special evenings, making it a favorite in Southern Vermont. Recent visitors have enjoyed the food, especially the bacon in loaded fries, and have appreciated the helpful service even when short-staffed. The Chicken Parmigiana and Margarita Pizza are highlighted as delicious choices, and many return when traveling through Vermont. Desserts like lemon meringue cheesecake and chocolate fudge layer cake are popular ways to finish a meal. The restaurant also offers a cozy yet sometimes dinghy atmosphere after dark, with a few TVs showing Sunday games. The wings are very good, and the beer selection is nice and cold. The staff is friendly and helpful, making customers feel welcomed and cared for. Overall, the restaurant combines great food, a cozy atmosphere, and superb service to create a memorable dining experience, with many guests recommending it for both dining in and takeout.
