“One of many great Burlington restaurants. They have a series of unique pizzas cooked in a large fire oven. The sausage pizza was a little disappointing - the sausage was made locally and the spice was too timid and this didn’t really help the overall taste of the pizza. Our other pizza was very good. We got a brownie with a scoop of ice cream which was average. Kinda felt like I could have easily made a box of brownies and added a scoop of ice cream and it would have been just as good.Loved the interior.“
“Came in on a very quiet Friday. Basically had the space to myself which was nice. Situated in a warehous-ey stretch of south Burlington. WW did a very nice job using the space to provide sufficient room for guests and the patio area was very nice. Onto the beers. I had a lager, festbier, ipa, and the doppelbock. The ipa was probably the weakest of the bunch. I really enjoyed the doppelbock and the light lager. All styles were well executed. Nothing mind blowing but very good approachable beers.“
“Checked out another one of the many breweries in Burlington. It happens to be attached to a pizza place. Queen City is good even for just the beer though. Lively atmosphere without being noisy and way crowded. The bar area isn't that big, but there's enough room for a group. A lot of people who come here know about it because of the pizza place that shares the same building. In fact, you can order a pizza from there at the bar and they'll bring it. They're actually another business, so this will just focus on the beers though. It's about $7 a pint. The beer menu has a variety on tap. Best one we had was the Poludnitsa, a Czech Pilsner. Great taste and it wasn't filling. It's light at 5% ABV. This has a bright spicy hop finish. Lots of ales and lagers to choose. These of course go good with a pizza. Get some beers. It has a ton to choose from. There's also the pizza place if wanting to eat something.“
“Stopped in after a day of skiing this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed their beer. Especially enjoyed New Day, Tropical Illusion, Tru Pils, Proper Mild, and even Winter Warmer. Great variety and laid back atmosphere. Will be back the next time I'm in the area.“
“One of my favorite microbreweries in Vermont. The way I describe this place is like going to Cheers in Boston “where everyone knows your name”! The beers are awesome, the place is comfortable and has a nice ambiance, people are friendly and most importantly they love dogs. Yeah very dog friendly establishment which is cool to see.Denial and Vet are their signature and popular IPAs which are delicious. They have some porters like the WatchDog which is a great beer too. Nice place to stop by to chat, meet other people, play some games and enjoy good beer.“
“Great little brewery to stop by. Plenty of seats and space. Had a pretty good selection of beers on tap. We tried the smoked beer flight. Not really my taste, but they were brewed well. Next time I'm over there, I'll try some of the other beers they have.“
“Many reasons to champion this establishment. First, great beer selection. 2-their beer is high quality...and then some. 3-this is a no frills brewery; it's about the beer-no televisions, no promotional advertisement's (though they might do promo nights-I do not know), clientele was cheery and engaging (good "craic" as The Irish say and awesome personnel.4-Now, I only know of one employee (small sample size). Simon was a very attentive, friendly, tolerant barkeep, and practiced the willingness to partake in a bit of harmless rhetorical fun.5-But down to "brass tacks." This is a cool place to enjoy great brew. I found out from a neighbor of the area that the place was founded and owned by a former high school teacher. Come on, you can't go wrong!“
“The food was great. Highly recommend the Smash Burger or the wings. Loved that they had a range of drinks from great beer to delicious non-alcoholic options. What I am most impressed with is the staff. I could feel the inclusive, people-centric vibe from walking in the door. The entire staff was kind, patient, and so helpful. I’ve never felt so welcomed at a restaurant. Highly recommend Burlington Beer Company for your next outing.“
“Took the Burlington VT tour yesterday and had a blast!! We had a new beer guide Ari doing his first tour with Nick shadowing. They were very knowledgeable about everything BEER and the 3 Breweries that we visited. Thank you!! Highly recommend!!“
“We enjoyed our beers and liked the space (including the dogs!) but there was a warmth missing from the vibe here. I asked one of the bartenders a question and they literally shrugged without any further response and looked away. I think that captures our experience at Foam. We would go back if in the area, but wouldn’t hurry to if there were other options.“
“Super nice spot to come with friends or family--it has a very chill vibe with lots of vintage video and pinball games (very nostalgic for my parents). When my family went there were even some live performances. The space is big, with both indoor and outdoor seating and, for the outside, there are lit fire pits (which we took full advantage of whilst waiting for our food). Rather than ordering from a server, we were able to place the food orders online and have them brought to the table. The food menu is limited, but is classic American fare--everyone was able to find something they enjoyed. The drink menu is definitely where they shine more. Personally, I was a fan of the hard cider.“
