What an amazing stay! Thank you to everyone at the Woodstock Inn & Resort for making our 20th wedding anniversary so memorable. Every detail—from the warm, attentive service to the beautiful touches around the property—made this milestone truly special. We can’t wait to return!
Was looking forward to a gift for my wife and needed to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately there was no room to accommodate life’s unexpected roadblocks. Now I’m out $360.

The Red Rooster at the Woodstock Inn & Resort offers a delightful dining experience with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. The menu features a variety of options, including the popular Rooster Salad with steak, although some found the presentation lacking. The Parker House rolls, served with maple butter, are a must-try despite the extra cost. The rack of lamb, cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce, is a favorite among guests. The gazpacho is praised as one of the best, and the staff is knowledgeable about gluten-free options. Families enjoy the kids menu and the dessert sorbet. Visitors often remark on the warm, attentive service and the beautiful touches around the property that make the experience memorable. The key lime panna cotta remains a highly recommended and creative treat. The Apple butternut soup has been described as refreshing and made with fresh ingredients, and the made-to-order food arrives quickly. The decor is also very pretty, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. Guests have enjoyed starting with rolls and maple butter, which are incredible and worth ordering again. Soups like clam chowder and apple butternut are so good that they could be meals on their own. Salads such as the kale caesar with salmon and the Rooster Salad with steak are prepared well and highly enjoyed. For dessert, many indulge in the maple cake with pecan ice cream, with large portions and outstanding flavor. Overall, the Red Rooster combines fresh ingredients, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a popular choice for both special occasions and casual dinners. Some feedback suggests refurbishing the restaurant to create a more cozy ambiance, as the current decor is not quite in harmony with the rest of the hotel.
