“We were here for NYE and Daniel and his team made it a great time. There were multiple large groups, the kitchen was clearly running behind but the service was excellent, the food was great, and we had no complaints whatsoever. I can only speak to the team in what used to be the tasting area but we had an excellent time!“

“Zips is great fast food, with a quaint old school feel. Consistently good, a wide variety of menu items, and huge value. It's like the great grandfather of Five Guys and Jack in the Box. Dining area has got that old school, greasy, not-quite-clean vibe too, but it's a fast food joint; you know what you're getting when you dine in. To be clear, it is clean and they keep it nice, but it has that feel to it.“

“Kind of exactly what you expect in an express fast food franchise. A big plus was that the Long John's side isn't as popular as the Taco Bell side, so my order was cooked while I waited. Fish was perfect, but the fries were definitely lack-luster at best. Will skip next time and do extra hushpuppies because those hushpuppies were straight up sublime. I'm a Georgia boy, and I know hushpuppies. Could not believe they came from a Long John's express. The young man who waited on me, I believe it was Nate (Nathaniel), was extremely polite and helpful. Even my wife, who does not eat fish, was pleased with the fish and hushpuppies, but agreed the fries were too "cardboard" like. We will be doing the fish and hushpuppies on a regular basis. Really nice break from burgers and chicken.“

“Always a good meal! Boils have tons of great seasoning/options. Service could be a little better, but overall pretty solid! We go 2-3x/month and never have food issues.“

“went for dinner and the wait time wasn't too bad but it gets busy. the seafood was good but the portion size is a joke ordered for 2 and they gave us a small amount of food for 2. the sausage was fry and the corn was overcooked that it was mushy. I still recommend this place because the spice level was amazing. and their limes were so juicy it was easy to squeeze to use on the food“

“First time visiting. I was a little unsure on trying skippers after looking over the reviews, but it wasn't bad. The place looked clean, soda machine looked clean. My husband & i got the fish & chips and it was really good. The fries were good as well.“

“I raise cattle and direct market Beef out of the Hermiston area. I’ve also traveled in Sales for 25 years and ate at a lot of really good restaurants. Between raising and marketing our beef and eating out, I’ve become a bit of a “Beef Snob”. I saw the Butchers cut steak and had to question whether it was authentically a Hanging Tender or just a house name for something else. I got really excited to find out it was a Hanging Tender. It came medium rare to perfection and had an outstanding plate appearance. I Loved that it was only slightly seasoned to let the meat carry its own flavor. There was a small sprig of I think Thyme that delicately flavored the small area it was on for a really nice taste bud surprise. The Hanging tender was genuinely tender. All of this for $25.99 entree that had a lot more value to it. If they had a smoker for just a touch of smoke seasoning it would have been lethal great in the best of ways. The fried pound cake desert hit the spot. We will be back.“
