“Our family had breakfast this morning at Matt's Grill & Lodge. We eat out at many different restaurants in the valley. Our breakfast this morning was the first breakfast we have had at Matt’s and it was exceptionally good. We had the german apple pancake, the cinnamon roll french toast, regular french toast, ham and cheese omlet, eggs benedict, oatmeal, german sausage and eggs, and bacon and eggs. Each one was perfectly prepared and delicious. I highly recommend Matt’s for breakfast!”

“The wait staff were VERY friendly and attentive, keeping my coffee cup brimming. The only thing that kept the entire rating from being a solid 5 stars was the chicken fried steak. While it was good, the seasoning seemed a little off from the traditional flavor that I prefer. I say this being a lifelong aficionado of chicken fried steaks. I'd eat there again in a heartbeat, however, but likely have something else from the menu.”

“Great Dinner! Scallops and Lamb were wonderful! Service was ok. It wasn’t busy, I waited more than ten minutes with an empty plate and drink before waiter finally came back. We ordered a second drink and were sipping on those, only had been 45 minutes since we sat, and another waitress brought us our ticket without asking if we wanted anything else?!! Felt like we were being rushed out. There were still seats available downstairs and the upstairs dining was empty when we walked out. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Dinner was delicious though! Would have enjoyed another drink though. 🤷🏻‍♀️”

“This is the best bar in Clarkston!! It’s fun, inclusive, perfectly decorated and lighted, is old and has history, and has great drinks and prices. The folks working there are great too (we had Liv helping us)! I’m so happy we got to see the ole Hogan’s Tavern and grab dinner and drinks here while on a visit. They make their own dressings too! “We ordered the Huckleberry cake slices yesterday, got them delivered today and oh my gosh!! They are soooo good and worth the drive!!!! Soft and moist cake that tastes like huckleberry heaven!! HIGHLY recommend trying her cake slices when they are available! Also got her 3 toaster pastries of the week and they are always my go to favorite! Thank you Britton and crew at B’s Bakery! 🧁 🧡”

“My daughter wanted this place for her birthday which is an unusual choice for us usually but she has went here quite a few times with her grandma. I have to say, I was surprised, prices were cheap, they have a room in the back with pool and darts which was fun, service was amazing and fast and then to top it off, one of the best burgers I have ever tried. Definitely did not disappoint. We had family come who had never been there also and they were impressed as well. Over all, great experience. Thank you Effie’s.”

“We drove 2-1/2 hours to try this pizza because we haven’t been able to find a really good pizza in North Idaho. Let me tell you…it’s worth the drive. Their pizza has a wonderfully crunchy crust and a perfect balance of delicious toppings. My husband went out on a limb and ordered the panther, with a mustard sauce and linguica. I was a little afraid to try it, but oh mama! It was so good! This is one of the best pizza places I’ve ever been to.”
