Good burritos. Wretched tacos - really bad. Poor service - no smiles.

Carne asada tastes like fish. Food is NOT fresh. Burrito was a flavorless disgusting overpriced mess.

Absolutely delicious! The tacos and burritos remind me on being back in California. The folks are friendly. Always a lovely treat to stop by.

The food always tastes fresh and flavorful. The menu is diverse and a bit more “up-scale” for what you would normally think of as your neighborhood Mexican restaurant but that’s definitely a plus in my book! I was absolutely blown away by the uniqueness and variety of the dishes. For instance, I had the beet and goat cheese tostada with black beans- not to be missed!

I went in there and ordered a quesadilla. I’ve been there before and always got a burrito and it was fine. It was a young girl who seems so annoyed that she had to wait on anybody.. In the picture, the quesadilla looks like it’s full of things besides cheese. She took a quesadilla shell put some cheese in it and folded it and started cooking it. I asked her if I could have beans and she did say yes, and added them. She then folded it in half and then I watched her sit there and hang on the machine and press it down so it was paper thin which I thought was weird, but thought maybe they’ll open it back up and Ask me what I wanted in it but she didn’t. She threw it in a box. I asked is that everything that goes in it and she goes yes I said oh OK she said if you want anything else you have to pay for separately I said OK but then she didn’t give me the option to add to it , she did ask if I wanted pico de gallo and I said yes, and then she threw it in the box on top of the quesadilla. Which soaked it. Literally liquid was pouring out of the box as I was walking . It came to 13.10 so one quesadilla folded in half with some cheese and some beans that she then squished to the size of a piece of paper and some Pico de gallo thrown on top soaking wet so now it’s just soggy Paper. I know this is Bainbridge Island and it’s known for having everything be exorbitant prices but that is ridiculous. I asked her if this was for the kids like maybe by mistake she somehow thought I wanted a kids quesadilla even though I had no kids with me she said no it’s an adult quesadilla.. I’ve never had so much attitude here before and soggy squished folded quesadilla with cheese and smashed beans for almost $14 is ridiculous. I definitely will not be back. There is a Mexican place up the road. I suggest everyone go there.

If you are looking for Mexican food and this is your only choice, try thr frozen food isle at your closest grocery store. The server with the lip ring was horrible! She acted like she was doing use a favor by being there and literally ruined our evening with her bad attitude. The food had no flavor and was dry. It's basically a prep counter reminiscent of Panda Express. And after they plop your food onto a plate they set the register to ask for a tip starting at 15%.
I would starve before setting foot in this.....place.
Lastly, the price for food here is astronomical.!
