Had an excellent Americano at Pegasus Coffee House: full-bodied, beautifully balanced, and extracted just right. What impressed me most was getting coffee this good at 5 p.m.; it’s the kind of quality you’d be happy with first thing in the morning, and getting it late in the day says a lot about how much the barista cares about every cup.
Just OK. Nothing to write home about. They don’t seem to understand how the physics of food going into people’s mouths work. Too much stuff loaded on the avocado toast makes for a messy experience.
The most interesting thing is the building itself. It’s a WWII relic used to process Japanese people on the island including the forced sale of their property.

Pegasus Coffee House is an adorable spot near the harbor with a cool building and great coffee. The ambiance is cute, featuring cozy indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff is super friendly, ensuring a pleasant experience even when the place gets busy. Coffee choices like mocha, iced mocha with coconut milk, cappuccino, and cortado are well-made and delicious. The Pegasus avocado toast is highly recommended, along with the must-try lemon cherry coffee cake. Although the line can be long at times, orders are ready quickly, making the wait worthwhile. The shop provides a cozy space to enjoy a bagel or almond pastry. Visitors are encouraged to fill out a free postcard while there for a special touch. It’s a perfect place to visit for good vibes and excellent coffee, especially when looking to recharge in Bainbridge.
