Via Rosa 11 was great! We had planned our day in Bainbridge Island around this restaurant and it did not disappoint. You can customize your order. I had the gnocchi bolognese, and it was soft and flavorful. My son had plain pasta with butter and Parmesan, which was not on the menu, but pleasantly accepted by the waiter. 3.5 stars. Decent food and decent ambiance. We came here for lunch on a Sat afternoon and got seated quickly. Their process is that you order at the counter first and then they seat you. We were in the covered patio and it was heated, which worked well since it got cooler and rainy within a few minutes of us getting there. Their ambiance is casual and they have servers but you don't end up interacting much with them.
