I had the chicken/hummus pita, which was delicious and the pita was soft, warm, and fresh. My husband, who is picky about his hamburgers, loved the one they serve here.“

“Nice little bar, gave four stars as we had to wait a few minutes for the bartender to show back up at the bar as there was no one there. When the bartender did come back we still had to wait as they checked in with everyone else already with drinks before coming to take our drink order. Not a bad place at all has pool table and foosball table.“

“We love Crave and have gone there several times. The mac and cheese is beyond great. We love the pasta they use, and the sauce is amazing. I always have extra to take home too. Not your grandma's grilled cheese is another favorite. I personally don't understand the bad reviews. It has been so great every time we go we have been completely satisfied and have told management several times. Compared to a lot of places and fast food at the same prices, it is a no-brainer. “WOW - unprecedented customer service! Ordering lunch or dinner for a party or work event? Jersey and her staff SLAY and will come in clutch. This is the type of establishment that you don't find anymore - like Cheers where everyone knows your name - where customer service matters and people actually enjoy what they do.

I am not familiar with the Vancouver area and called this place off a recommendation from a customer. I needed a large order completed on a certain day and at a time that was within a half hour of them opening so wasn't sure they could accommodate me. I called a few weeks in advance and the person who answered the phone took my information down, said she would pass it along to the manager, and to call a couple days before I needed the order and the manager (Jersey) would take care of it. I'm OCD and put it on my calendar to call - Jersey answered and said was just walking back to actually call ME to place the order (oh, and that she was the same and had it on her calendar too). If you bring in food for customers or a large group often you know how often things can or do go wrong, so then you also know just how RARE this is to hear. Showed up after a 3 hour drive, pizzas were done on time and they thought of everything from utensils, etc down to extra dressing for people who like it on their pizza. AMAZING! Thank you Jersey, Topanga (bartender working that morning) and the Uptown team for making my lunch for 40+ people such an amazing and stress free experience!

I already know the pizza is good but I'll be back since I hear the wine selection is top tier with wines sourced from all over that are rare and hard to find.

P.S. Did I mention they also let me borrow warming bags? Topanga actually looked surprised when I brought them back! Haha!“

“I looked at the reviews online and pictures of the food, and that’s what made me come to this restaurant. I was not disappointed. I had the corned beef, hash and eggs. My first time out and it was delicious. The eggs were done just as I asked the hashbrowns were tasty and they even had homemade bread for toast. The waitresses are very casual and very friendly and I will definitely be back.“

“I am gluten free and found this place on my Find Me GF app. This was absolutely the best GF Breakfast I've ever had!!! The waffle was thick and perfectly cooked and came with not a pad of ice cold butter, but a large bowl of MELTED butter to pour over the waffle. That along with smuckers sugar free syrup...it was phenomenal! Also ordered slice of ham and they also gave me 4 strips of bacon too! I recommend highlty!“

When you drive up to the Cameo Cafe, it definitely looks like you are pulling up to a dive in the south side of a seedy town. The establishment is definitely dated! It could use an absolute overhaul as far as appearances. The inside isn't much different as it hasn't found its place in this modern world. Fortunately, the breakfast makes up for all the rest of its short falls. Also, the service wasn't too bad either. We had good food with good drinks, served to us by an attentive, no nonsense staff. “Stopped by our neighborhood Applebee’s the other night because we couldn’t think of anywhere else to go. We seated ourselves immediately upon arrival in the bar, which was great because we showed up during happy hour. There was a bit of a delay before anyone came over to greet us or take our food/drink order. After being seated for a bit, one of the female bartenders came by and brought us waters and then another server took over because their shift started. Once service picked up, the experience was much better. The food was well-prepared and flavorful, and the happy hour specials were an especially great value for both food and drinks. However, 1 of the 3 appetizers we ordered was barely warm when we received it, as if it was done and had been sitting there awhile before it was brought out to our table. Elliot was an excellent server—very friendly, patient, and professional. He made sure to check in on us throughout the meal without being intrusive and was happy to answer questions and make suggestions. His attentive service definitely stood out and made the visit more enjoyable. Overall, a solid experience with good food, great happy hour deals, and standout service once things got rolling. With slightly quicker initial service and fresher/hotter appetizers, this would easily be a five-star spot.“
