“Kind staff, food is good a bit more bland than I'm used to but its decent portions here & a good quick stop for lunch. I've only tried 3 things on their menu (asada fries, chicken tacos & birria tacos y consome) Pretty pricey as well 😵‍💫 but if you need a quick bite and are in the area its not a bad choice.“

“I wanted something healthy on the way to visiting Union, Washington, and I decided to try my luck at Lotus Garden. I think this may be the best Chinese takeout I’ve had since moving to Seattle 5 years ago. The reason it is my favorite is because it is exactly what you would expect from a good takeaway. It’s nothing fancy, but the portions are huge, the food is fresh and hot, and the lunch deal is a STEAL.

My boyfriend and I both got the lunch combo (amazing value). I got chicken chop suey and he got sweet and sour chicken. I wouldn’t have changed a thing, the sauce was light and it was loaded with vegetables.

“My husband and I decided to try Haru's out after I read some reviews. The review's were right on! The food was terrific, I had the chicken teriyaki with egg roll. My husband had chicken teriyaki with fried rice. We decided after trying his we decided to order a fried rice to go. We do not regret. It was delicious!“

Because I looked empty and there was no one take my order. The place has very basic decor. As I sat and ordered, many people came and picked up their foods. Everyone had nothing but good things to say about this place. I was impressed, an old lady said that she eats nowhere but here. Then my food came, broccoli chicken and a side salad. The portions are humongous and everything tasted delicious. The waitress was super nice and kept checking in on me if I need something.

“I don't say this as a flex but just so I can paint a picture… I'm a private chef and have traveled quite a bit internationally and definitely to some regions with incredible Indian food (England, Australia and Vancouver). I was on my way to Hoodsport and my husband and I were hungry thought we would give burger claim a try since it was in route. We had decided on the smashed burger when the waitress told us that they have really good Indian. I kind of laughed when I looked around because it was a pretty Caucasian environment and in my experience, the best Indian restaurants are when you're surrounded by East Indian customers. Anyway, we decided to give it a try and I'm not exaggerating when I say it is some of the best Indian food I've ever had in my life. I'm still talking about it days later and ordered some to go so I could have it for dinner the next day. What a surprise to find some of the most delicious Indian food on the planet in the most unexpected place. Chef Rahna is a master at his trade. Our waitress, Amanda was also incredible!!! She was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I feel bad that I didn't believe her when she was saying how great their Indian food was and now I would trust her to the end of the Earth, lol. Seriously though. What a fabulous experience and we will definitely be regulars.“

“This is the best Mexican food in the area, full-stop. I’m from Arizona, so maybe it’s a certain style or regional flavor that I’ve spent the last five years searching for - this place nails it. I feel like I’m a kid at abuelita’s house all over again.

I’m working my way through their whole menu slowly, but so far: Tacos de cabeza, sopes, tacos de adobada, tamales, rice, beans, jalapenos. They’ve all been superior items. Pair with a glass bottle Coke from Mexico and you’re in for a treat.

Do yourself a favor, show up, trust the menu, ask questions and recommendations if you need it. The people are wonderful. This is the spot and you won’t convince me otherwise.

I ordered a burger with fries, and it was surprisingly solid—juicy, well-cooked, and served hot with crispy fries on the side. The drink selection was straightforward but had enough options to keep things interesting. Service was friendly and quick, even with a steady crowd at the bar. It’s not trying to be anything fancy, but it does a good job as a dependable spot for drinks, bar food, and a laid-back hangout.“

“Hubby has been wanting to try this place for months, he’s a pizza fan. We finally called in an order tonight and the woman on the phone was very friendly to take our order. Great customer service! We were impressed by the fresh ingredients, great quality of food, full of flavor, and sauces tasted like they’re made in house. Cheesy garlic bread sticks were bomb.com! So much flavor and the right amount of cheese. Huge serving of them! Marinara sauce was way better than most pizza joints. Buffalo sauce which we normally don’t like (ordered on the side for wings), was amazing and didn’t have that Tabasco vinegar spicy taste most buffalo sauces or wing sauce contains. I’m glad we got it on the side to try anyways! The cinnamon twists come in a huge order for 16in, I wasn’t expecting so much and wished we got the smaller order but they were delicious. Light and fluffy and right amount of cinnamon and sugar. My hubby is going to take their advice and try it in his coffee in the morning. And the winning dish- the Pizza! Since hubby is a pizza fan he wanted to start with a basic pepperoni with extra cheese and get a feel for it. His jaw dropped when he saw how big the slices were and instantly fell in love with this place! lol The first thing I noticed was how fresh the pizza crust looked and it’s artisan style, was even better when I tried it. The extra cheese covered over great quality pepperonis with the pizza sauce and fresh crust, it was AMAZING! He said no more Seabeck pizza after having Allyn pizza. Thank you for making your food with love and fresh ingredients, it shows in the quality and taste of the food! We will be coming back for more!“

“We love that they serve three different dips with the chips, and the mushroom salsa is absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed our meal. I had the steak fajitas, and the portion was huge. One order could easily feed two people. The atmosphere is nice, although it can get a little loud when it's busy. The service was excellent, and we'll definitely be back!“
