“One of the neighborhood bars!! My mom used to hang out there and bartended for a while and that was my first time there since 2001. It was really nice, very relaxing. The atmosphere was really nice and everybody was very friendly and the bartender was great. Thank you, Mel and all the people to Caroline that “
“Heard about this place from a co-worker. He told me to call the order in because it would take a while, so I did and he was right. I called it in and they said 20 min. Got there and it took another 25 min. Didn't like that. I ordered the 3 piece chicken with the mojos. The chicken is pressured cooked and fried. It was delicious, the mojos needed a bit more crunchiness for me but they were good. The establishment is actually a bar and they had a live band the day I went so it was kinda loud. I recommend take out instead of dining in but I did go on a Friday. Give it a try you won't regret it.“
“Quintessential Bar and Grill in the Heart of Tangletown. Flip Flop and Crocs kind of place. Don't expect to sip a fancy cocktail while enjoying hors d'overs. This is draft beer at a perfect temperature. Unpretentious food and super friendly service with a few well placed TVs showing local sports. Great place.“
“I last visited with my Grandma and a drag gameshow was happening about 10 years ago. When visiting this time, someone was checking the front of IDs on a Sunday evening. I happened to be there for a 21st birthday party. The bartender was super nice and made a wonderful drink for the birthday girl. Creative drinks and food. The outside is hard to spot, because no lights were on. Parking is atrocious, recommend rideshare or walking.“
“Great small venue with a wraparound bar. Tons of live music scheduled! Check their website! No kitchen but they do have snacks. Lots of local breweries on tap and in a bottle/can!Parking: No street parking. Paid parking lot directly across the street.“
“I have been going to Twilight for all the years(7) I've lived in Seattle. It is a staple of the neighborhood and thank goodness for that! I always get the meat loaf dinner and make sure to have some pin ball sessions . I've met new friends here...and it's always nice to meet IRL. Alphabet Mafia all welcome. All are welcome, including dogs and...MY cat( who loves meeting new people and being a service animal and giving good lap sitting and petting sessions??. On other nights the karaome is on point and lit. Everyone is respectful and peaceful. No drama. Thank you Twilight for being a place to relax and commune!? ? “
“Cool spot for an easy and satisfying midday meal. Surprised to see every barstool filled on a Tuesday afternoon, but it must be a popular local watering hole. Ordered at the bar -- Tavern Burger ($7) and a Tavern Salad ($10) -- and then chose a table. Bartender wasn't the warmest but that's ok, the food was good and the atmosphere hit just right. Parking lot out back and street parking available too.Just a note, they have a nice outdoor patio, but they do *not* allow dogs on leashes.“
“Highly recommend this place. The food was incredible and the staff were absolutely wonderful! We walked up and down the street trying to figure out where to eat. Finally we decided to just eat at the restaurant closest to where we parked wherever that may be... we are so glad we decided to do that because we discovered the Bait Shop.“
“Lots of rotating options here. Go with a flight and taste a few of the unknowns. There are only two tables on the street level; great for people watching if you snag one! Downstairs has a more private, cozy feel for gatherings or date vibes.“
“Great spot as both a guest and as a performer. Great service, clean bathroom, fun event space, convenient location and great people. I love places where you can expand your community and actually connect with people. This is one of those places. Sundays offer coffee if you’re looking for that.“
“The Santa Fe hamburger is amazing very good quality and flavor thanks for made me a great hamburgerVegetarian options: Veggie sandwich with multigrain bread Is so good mayo lettuce tomato onion and avocado yum yumParking: Safe private parking only costumers“
“Stopped by with a couple of friends for the ska brunch - fun crowd of locals and food was actually pretty decent. This is definitely a dive bar and expectations should be held accordingly but would 100% go back to catch a show or just do some people watching over a cold drink.“
“friendly bartender. good amount of beers! good whiskeys, perfect place to catch a monday night or thursday football game (assuming it’s quite packed if it’s a seattle team playing) but great spot for an out of towner passing through. just divey/ sporty enough with nice locals. awesome exterior as well….“
“This is a total dive bar but the people here are regulars and they make you feel at home including the bartender. Truly an amazing place. Extra bonus. They allow dogs inside the place. Super extra points. They don't have food but they allow you to bring food from “
“Have been coming here for like 8 years. It's the best bar for cheap but heavy drinks and great bar food. They consistently have the most chill staff that feel like friends. They remember your orders, too, which makes coming here so much fun. This place attracts such a diverse group of chill folks, and it's my absolute fav place EVER!“
“Take food that exceeds all of your expectations and add the perfect hole in the wall atmosphere and you have the Pacific in pub down next to the water and close to everything (I was visiting the Fremont troll on that day which is only a couple of blocks away)... For over a year I had a co-worker telling me that it was the best fish and chips anywhere in the greater Seattle area. That is actually saying a lot, because one, this is Seattle and we are the world capital of fish and chips, and two, he was an Uber driver for many years and would snack just about anywhere... Guaranteed. I will be back in the very, very near future. One of the most unique fish batters absolutely highlighted this amazing fresh fish and there is a reason that they are famous for their fish and chips. I fell in love not only with the seriously cool hole in the wall atmosphere of the plates, but both of the staff personnel that I had talked to were people that I wanted to go and hang out with. Love this place, love the food, love the location, love the atmosphere, love the people. You have got to go ... And on a trivia and- Anthony Bourdain visited this place and absolutely swore by it“
“I had the pleasure of going here last night with my neighbors. We hadn’t found our local watering hole since moving here about a year ago. Well, last night we fixed that problem! The Reservoir is probably the coolest neighborhood bar around. When you walk in, you walk into a huge room with pool tables, a tall wood bar, good music, and friendly staff. We got our drinks and headed out back to the patio area. There was a grassy area, a shed with a very large tv in it, a covered smoking area and picnic tables under a separate covered area.We met the owner who was such a nice lady. We learned that they’d just reopened after a series of setbacks that took 5 months to fix! She was very proud of being able to take care of her employees during that time and I really admired that about her. You could really tell how deeply she loves her bar that’s been in her family since 1991.Haven’t gone into the Reservoir? CHANGE THAT AND GO!!! You’re gonna have a blast.“
“Amy set the stage for sublime experience. She was engaged and enthusiastic and incredibly welcoming. Reassured me that I wasn’t being a burden by arriving at 1AM.And interacted with everyone as a true professional. In this era of COVID bartenders she was veritable lighthouse in the maelstrom.“
“I've lived on the Eastside of Seattle for more than 20 years, walked past this place countless times and never stopped in until this week. My husband, son and I were looking for an unpretentious place to eat a late lunch at reasonable prices. Lots of online reviewers commented that this is a total dive bar but has great food and friendly service. They were correct. We really enjoyed our club sandwich, patty melt and tuna melt (each served with fries). Definitely better food than at many of the fancy restaurants in downtown Redmond or Kirkland. Our servers were attentive and congenial. As for the ambiance, oh yeah, it's a total dive. We expected the place to be dead on a Monday afternoon but there was a crowd of senior citizens who, in the words of Judas Priest ("Livin' After Midnight") appeared to be "loaded, loaded!" long before sunset, let alone midnight. That was actually kind of funny. Anyway, we won't be visiting for the nightly karaoke action but yes, we'll probably return for a tasty, old-school lunch or breakfast.“
“Grrrrrreat atmosphere! Karaoke, trivia, bingo, on weekdays food until 1 am.Always great service, music ,pool playing, sports On screen t v's 360° of viewing, dedicated fridge full of various jello shots, and just about every kind of liquor under the sun! I do wish they had coverage on their outdoor seating area, however, especially if it's raining. Dogs are allowed is a major plus! Perfect neighborhood bar! ?? ??✌️? ???????? ?Vegetarian options: Any burger they have on their list can go with a veggie patty!? ???????????Wheelchair accessibility: Ezee peezee...“
“Anyone who rates this place less than 4 stars needs to learn what a dive bar is... This place is AMAZING!! Phenomenal staff all around! If you get attitude it's cause you're drunk or rude. Bartenders are always right. You don't like that? Please do everyone a favor and go somewhere else! I live blocks away and this has been my go to bar before and after games or simply for a nightcap for years. It's loud, it's crazy, it's so much fun!! I bring all my friends here!“
“Al's bar is that girl and you can't convince me otherwise. Ask the bartender that looks like an extra from Grease for an old-fashioned and prepare to enjoy a cocktail that's way too delish for the dive bar you ordered it in.FYI: Cash only, ATM available“
“It was a busy game night, men's basketball, UW vs Gonzaga. The beer line moved fairly quickly, the food took a bit longer than normal, but once received tasted great. The staff did their best to keep up & provide updates when needed. If you're a bit tight on money, keep in mind you can still get an $8 pitcher here from the "Husky tap". It's the champagne of beers, Miller High Life!“
“Great bar good food fun karaoke what more could you ask for! I've been going here since just before COVID to do karaoke. The staff is always friendly security makes you feel safe and the food is always yummy. I like the mix of music people sing and it's the kind of place where you always run into someone you know. Great spot to start or end your bar crawl or to stay for a while. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because they don't always have the songs I want to sing however the song catalog is very large. Could just be the songs I'm picking, who knows. But at the end of the day it's a great time.“
“Really great place, love Taylor the bartender, she is super nice and makes great drinks. Her dog is awesome, makes a great vibe.Very comforting and inviting place, it is far from being against any communities, everyone is treated nice and equally. As a minority I feel welcomed and safe, love the diversity here. Thank you!“
“So, I found myself at a local bar, the Zoo on a Tuesday night, my first impressions were so wrong! The bartender Dylan greeted me on a obviously busy night, saying he’ll be right with me, and he was. I was served and wandered towards the pool tables, I was told it was league night, so I watched for a minute. I was immediately drawn to a guy shooting pool with one arm, not that he didn’t have another arm, so I thought he was showing off maybe. I spoke with him after, he introduced himself as “Boston” and I said “ahh you’re from California?” We were friends from that point! He shot one handed and he said because that’s how he plays best, and I have to say I may have never seen a better pool player since I have been in Seattle 25 years. He provides a great part of the atmosphere, as well as Dylan, and the other locals, who live on Eastlake Ave E like me! I've seen Boston and Dylan, and some of the others around and we always B.S and I am so glad I decided to go to The Zoo, or I would have missed out on some cool, neighborhood friends. Don’t think you can beat Boston, or a couple others in a game of pool, I did, and never touched the table, straight run first game, I removed my quarters after that, and left the pool to Boston and the crew! Thanks for taking a stranger and making him a friend Zoo!Parking: Easy peasy street parkingWheelchair accessibility: large entrance, plenty of space“
“Grungiest place in Seattle and i love every bit of it. Montana has excellent, unique drink deals, and seating outside. The only game they seem to have is Buck hunter and it is near the back. As a punk/grunge lover, the aesthetic is pleasing.“
“We found out about this place because we went on a ghost tour in Seattle around Halloween. This place has a lot of history and has been around for a long time, the oldest standing restaurant in Seattle. It was once a Liquor store/ cafe and hotel/ "apartments" as a saloon or I would consider a brothel and a card room. The men would choose which women he wanted by the photographs on the wall. There have been so many different owners due to the "ghostly happenings" so much that it was featured on two different shows. The Dead Files Episode Burned Alive" and I'm not sure on the other name, but I did see it. From what I remember the tour was better than the food. The service was decent, not too busy when we got there as we found a table right away. The food was not the best from what i remember. I know it's changed through the owners, but there were more options to choose from before. I've been here a couple times so it can't be that bad, it's a little different each time.“
“Had a great, creative version of an espresso martini here and noticed the bartender put a lot of care into making sure my drink was up to satisfaction. The food they have right now is some of the best I’ve tasted here. Also noticed they put up a cover around part of the patio to block out rain for the rainy days coming! Good “
“Fun dark dive bar in Georgetown. Parking can be a struggle in this area on the after 8p. Bartenders are extremely nice and welcoming. Some of the best affordable drinks in Seattle. Food is descent but could use more seasoning. Chill place to grab drinks with people without any drama that you might encounter downtown on a weekend.“
“Friendly neighborhood bar feel, but with a modern flair. Cozy, but not too small to move through comfortably. HAPPY HOUR still exists here! I'd definitely go back. Had the tuna melt, was a nice portion, perfect french fries and very fresh.“
