If we are strictly talking food , 5 stars for high quality meat . It's so good by itself , rarely requiring sauce unless you feel like using it . I'm not sure I've been done wrong at any point . I've been to Japan, have tried Wagyu and well, I felt nothing, just no memories of how good wagyu over there was but Ishoni, I have had so many good memories, never tried A5 but today's wagyu already enough satisfied my love for beef, maybe someday when My wallet gets bigger. I know some people would get annoyed by their reservation system but honestly, with the size of their space, without reservation, it's gonna be a hella chaotic place. My cousin decided to do his birthday dinner here and I'm so glad he did. It was my husband and I's first time and man was it good. Very small restaurant, but quality food and service. The wagyu beef is literally like butter and the Ishoni rice is sooo good! Definitely best to have reservations if you want to for sure secure a table. It's a little pricy, but def worth the price.
