Do not let the Google review average score dissuade you. The restaurant formerly known as Tokyo Steakhouse is under new ownership but still using the old Google my business page. New owners have taken over the old space and are renovating the restaurant while keeping it open and transitioning to a newer menu. They are still maintaining the teppanyaki style dining experience. We were greeted and seated right away. When the server came over she asked what kind of water we wanted. Did not mention that there would be an additional charge, and we found out at the end that we were charge $9 for a single glass of “mineral water “ (just a bottle of Fiji Water). She did not ask if we wanted anything else to drink so when she came back to take our order we had to ask for the other beverages that we wanted. We ordered Sushi and Hibachi. Came here with our family to celebrate my birthday after hearing about new management recently. What a fun (and delicious) event! The portions were huge and the food was outstanding. Our 6 and 7 year olds loved the show and are still talking about it. The staff went out of their way to make my birthday feel special - very good service.
