I ordered the spicy chicken and a side of gyoza. The gyoza were well cooked with crispy edges, serving side was good and plenty of sauce for dipping! The teriyaki was very spicy but well flavored. I ordered a 5 out of 6 levels of spiciness. Service was good and I didn't have to wait long. Call ahead if you don't want to wait. The phone was ringing off the hook! I forgot to get the complimentary soup. Something to try when i go back.
The chicken katsu is really good still, but the service has started to decline in the past year or so. The prices have also gone up and at times the food isn't up to the great standards I held it at before.
Overall still a good place to go for teriyaki most of the time.

I had been by here on a lark during the pandemic a few years ago. There were a bunch of college age kids outside waiting and I wasn't exactly sure what to do. I went in and was instantly greeted by an old Asian man who yelled at me to get out. I always love the hole in the wall place where horrible service is no match for the delicious food they serve. I felt like I was in a Seinfeld episode. Ok, now what? After learning the protocol on ordering I was able to place my order...
