Being on a three-week road trip, we were often faced with American-sized "hearty" breakfasts. Mounds of eggs, toast, mixed meats, etc. While fun in the moment, we later suffered "breakfast regrets." Such cannot be said for Harris Avenue Cafe. Set in the old part of town, surrounded by a truly eclectic array of fascinating shops and works of art, its exterior and interior fit right in. We are from Seattle and have an espresso machine at home with which we make espresso and cappuccinos every morning, and Tony's has long been our coffee of choice. It was therefore fun to visit the home base of the roaster in the Fairhaven District of Bellingham and have a delicious cappuccino made by them. I will definitely be back soon to this place for my breakfast or even a lunch. So great even in times of viral challenges. I sat outside in the sweet garden at my table looking at trees and relaxing under a red umbrella. The breakfast was magnificent and the waitstaff very good.
