“Where do I even begin, with how fantastic the food and quality of service is at this restaurant, it’s hard to find the perfect words to describe how amazing the food here is. It is consistently good, I have never been disappointed eating here and this restaurant has always been my first choice of dining for the past 3 years. I even took my family here who were visiting us from Africa and they said the best food they had in the US was at the Birch Door. This place will always be our favorite. Their menu is fantastic! All of the meals on the menu is fantastic you cant go wrong with any of their meals!“

“They only sell Russian dumplings in 2 varieties: Beef and Potato. But their dumplings are so delicious and popular, that they don't need much else! They offer soft drinks and have a record collection to play music from. I've been going for years after late nights Karaoke-ing. The vibes are lovely with the art and blue walls. I'm a repeat customer for life.

Wheelchair accessibility: Door doesn't have a switch but it's a push not pull door and the restroom is on the main (1st) floor.“

Their food stands out amongst other restaurants' brunch/breakfast menu with their items like the savory Shakshuka and thick-cut french toast and I've never been somewhere else in town that does giant cut-fries that are flavored; such a fun experience! “Great slice of pizza, absolutely one of the best in Bellingham. Undercarriage is ok not much char on this one but no flop, great crunch that does falloff a bit towards the center. Sauce is seasoned well, fontina cheese really adds something and the pecorino is just enough where you can taste it but it's not overpowering. Really good pizza being done right and it’s great when you can call it in ahead for takeout.“

Chill, cozy vibe with a ton of outdoor seating. There was a pizza truck parked out front, snacks inside, and even cider slushies (yes, really). Super welcoming space—dogs, kids, families, everyone’s good here. It’s also clearly LGBTQ+ friendly, which is always great to see. Just an all-around inclusive and relaxed atmosphere.

They’ve got local art for sale, some cool merch, and they actively support other small businesses and community groups. The cider tender was friendly and knew their stuff without being pushy.

“My partner and I love this place so much!! As recent vegetarians, the Greek pizza hits hard. We stopped in yesterday hoping to snag a couple t-shirts that we had recently seen on the Bellingham subreddit and saw our sizes were out of stock. We went to go pay for our pizza and the person helping us went out of their way to ask if we wanted shirts and went and found our sizes from the back! Always over the top service here, we hope this place stays around forever :)“
