“This place was a awesome first stop across the border. Ordered the nachos as an appetizer to split and it was a full meal for both me and my partner. Mounds and mounds of cheese and beef and so tasty. Got the fish and shrimp and partner got the beef dip and we're both going home with leftovers. The staff were pretty good checking in on our needs but could have been just a little more frequent we had to pull them jn to help with sides once or twice. Either way the food and atmosphere were fantastic definitely a 5/5 experience.“

“I stopped in tonight and ordered the “1890” single burger, and it absolutely hit the spot. The burger was juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked, with fresh toppings and a soft, toasted bun. The curly fries were crispy and golden, and the ranch dip paired perfectly with them. Service was excellent as always, friendly, prompt, and attentive without being overbearing. This place never disappoints, whether you’re just grabbing a casual bite or meeting up with friends for a relaxing evening. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area. “Going to CJ’s Beach House is like taking a walk down nostalgia lane. It used to be a favorite spot of my grandpa’s (aka Grumps) and so bringing family from California and my grandpa’s close neighbor friend was a great experience. Not to mention the lobster mac-n-cheese and crab 🦀 cakes filled the belly just right.“

“This is a very new location. It was a rocky start but they very quickly became the spot for a quick bite. Which with these gas prices, is a win for us. No more driving almost 40 miles round trip for fast food after 8pm lol. The staff does their best when things go awry.“

“My fiance and I had our first date at Ulis 4 years ago. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the view is beautiful. So when our 4th anniversary came around we decided to have our first date all over again. We went to Ulis again for some delicious food. When our server asked us what our plans for the day was my fiance told him that we had come to Ulis on our first date and that it was our anniversary. Our server was absolutely amazing (I wish I could remember his name, but unfortunately I can’t) he went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely experience. He even brought us out some compliantly cheesecake for us to celebrate our anniversary. Our server had no idea that my fiance had plans on popping me the question that night. I would like to thank everyone at Ulis from the bottom of my heart for helping make our special day that much more special, memorable and for the amazing service and yummy food. If you are looking for a restaurant that has absolutely amazing service, delicious food, and a beautiful view you need to dine at Ulis. Highly recommend!“

“I dont want to give less star as this was one of my favourite burger spot 4 years back.

Please try to improve the quality of beef patty and quality of oil for french fries. Let the customers have healthy food for what they pay for. I was not satisfied this time with classic cheese.

“Quick stop for Poutine. Classic Canadian fare that tastes like home. The fries are crispy, the cheese squeaky, and the gravy is flavourful. Only one more authentic is off the cafeterias from high school or the ski slopes. My wife and I even enjoyed a Canadian lady-and-the-tramp moment when the fries we were eating was strung by a single melted cheese curd. It was Canadian Magic.“

“Weekly we take my 97 year old Mother out for lunch. It is always challenging to find something for her to eat since she has tooth sensitivity issues. She LOVES Swiss/Broccoli cheese soup but it's not always available leaving us with few options. BUT a month ago we were informed that the kitchen staff CAN and WOULD be willing to blend other meals up into a soup like consistency making it easier for her to enjoy meals! WOW!!! What a game changer! Many thanks to the staff who recognize us and set up our place setting with smaller cocktail napkins, hurrying with Mom's HOT tea, etc. It sure makes taking her out so much easier! “Service was excellent! The only issue we had was the air conditioning was blasting and it was freezing. Asked the server to turn it down which they did at 1st but apparently the other side of the pub was too hot. So the heating/cooling wasn't consistent thru the pub. They did give us vouchers though because we froze.“

Did you know that the hash browns are bottomless? Lived here our entire lifetime and was never told this. So let's talk about our server ... Olivia was absolutely delightful. She was polite and kind. She stopped in often to check in for coffee and hashbrown refills (btw who told us about the refills on the taters!!). She was easy to talk to without any kind of pressure. We even laughed over a story about Dave Matthews Band! The overall experience was positive and our interaction with Olivia alone would bring us back.“

“Great community pub, we always have excellent service from friendly, attentive, efficient and welcoming staff! The food is great, and they have excellent daily deals and happy hour! They have done some really nice upgrades with their interior; incredible artwork on the walls!

“Ordered my ever-favorite lettuce and chicken wraps... had to go hunting for the chicken. Seriously, there probably were 6-10 tiny pieces (and that's being gracious). Otherwise tasted good and lots of lettuce to keep us going. Definitely would seriously think twice about ordering this again. The presentation was lovely, the staff was super and all the rest of the boxes ticked off the top of the chart. Oh, and loved their OH Canada signage!! Funny!“
