Superb food and service.
They were busy on a Sautday afternoon but the wait staff was fast and the lunch special (vegetable chow mein, deep fried prawns, and pork fried rice) was affordsble and delicious! The deep fried prawns tasted fresh and crunchy. I will be back again!

Emperor's Palace is a typical old-school neighborhood Chinese spot. The food is excellent and always amazing. There is a wide variety of dishes; one customer had the moo goo gai pan and a pork combo plate for less than $40 to feed two with leftovers. Portions are large, though some noted portions have declined while prices have gone up. The atmosphere is always nice with comfortable seating, well lit, and low music. The restaurant does a lot of takeout, which can make the wait fairly long for takeout orders. It is faster to sit in and dine. Delivery service has caused frustration, with one order taking almost two hours for a location two minutes away, leading to a canceled order. Customer service needs improvement. The restaurant was closed one day without updating the Google listing, causing a wasted trip. For a date night, it can be a touch loud, but otherwise excellent. Overall, the taste cannot be beaten, and it comes recommended, especially for dining in to try a lunch special.
