We've dined in, taken out and had food delivered from this location many, many times.
The fried and/or garlic shrimp entrees vary - and seem to be inconsistent. We've probably ordered the appetizer shrimp 7-8 times and the shrimp size, product and preparation were always different.
Singapore noodles and rice dishes are fire!
Service is efficient when dining in house. Nothing over the top but adequate. Keep your complaints to yourself. Enjoy the food and roll with it.

“The Golden Mum is a hidden jewel for pool players on the Kitsap Peninsula. Located in Bremerton, WA at 32 NE Silver Pine Dr #200. It's near the intersection of NE Fairgrounds Road and Central Valley Road NE.There are three well maintained 7' Diamond tables with plenty of spacing. Wall mounted magnets allow for easy live streaming matches with smart phones. Consistent presence of a variety of player skill levels from beginner to advanced. Top players from Western WA are there on a weekly basis, and open to accepting matches. This is also a central location for the famous local league ToTO (Top of The Olympics) with regular league play as well as multiple tournaments yearly. The very popular live stream platform ChalkBox, led by Patrick Nicks, has live streamed here. Also, nearby is the famous FNL Studios headed by Lee Baldwin who frequents the establishment. Again, some of the top players in the area and WA state are consistent visitors. So, if you enjoy pool for a game of fun, or serious match, you must visit The Golden Mum.The atmosphere is a classic bar scene, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are great, and are easy to converse with. They exude authentic positive vibes, and go out of their way to ensure customers have what they need and want. Be sure to meet the owner Monica, and her two lovely daughters: Brieanna & Makiah. In addition, they have dedicated staff for bar and kitchen.Food at The Golden Mum is a top notch attraction for both quality and price. You can see the menu in the pics. I personally tried the bacon cheeseburger with cheddar, and curly fries. The bun was absolutely premier, the burger thick, the fixings fresh, and juicy without being wet....PERFECT! I was there on Wednesday when this is, wait for it,....$6 with the purchase of a beverage. With the price of food today this is an amazing offering. The bar itself is well kept, and fully stocked for whatever your palate desires.There are plenty of other distractions to enjoy: karaoke, gaming, poker, multiple large screens with a variety of content, jukebox, live comedy, other live performances, onsite ATM, multiple well maintained and clean restrooms, and more.

Parking: Plenty of parking with other retailers for convenience items.

“We enjoy the honey walnut shrimp. The Dinner Special #L02 Kung Pao Chicken with Hot Garlic Sauce does not have peanuts! First Kung Pao Chicken I've ever had that did not have peanuts. Very odd. When I asked the wait staff explained that the Kung Pao Chicken with Hot Garlic Sauce on the dinner special is not the same as the Kung Poa Chicken on the dinner menu. They offered the bring peanuts or redo the dish. I declined and will not order the dinner special again.“

“My 7-year-old son loves Joy Teriyaki. The Bento Box is one of the best around. I personally think the fried shrimp are the best you can ever find (seriously, they are so good!). The service is always great. I left my hat here and they saved it for me to collect the next time I came in.

I ordered the broccoli chicken with fried rice and my son ordered the chicken teriyaki. The broccoli chicken is the best I have ever had (and I’ve eaten many versions in my lifetime). The dish comes with green pepper, mushrooms, carrots, and broccoli in a brown sauce. The yummiest sauce according to my taste buds. The fried rice is also a new fave.

Spring rolls are a must if you like a vegetarian version. They came out hot and crispy.

I’m so happy to have found this place. My waist and thighs will hate me as I plan on making frequent visits, but oh well. I’m only here for a couple of years so I plan on enjoying the local restaurants.

“The prices are very good and i’m not going to lie the lomein is great, i loved the jalapeno chicken and this would have been a 5* review however the orange chicken had zero sweetness and was instead salty?

Im hoping it was a one time mistake and that someone maybe confused the salt for sugar but i will eat it again in the future and am really hoping to change the review to a 5* as it should/could be.“

We even had some Jasmine tea was super good, sometimes I like to try out new drinks they had a it was a gummy bear drink. It was amazing and it was not weak. “I've waited a long time for a close by Chinese takeout style place, and I was very happy to see Pau's open. The crab rangoons are delicious, and the General Tso chicken was perfect. My friend loved the shrimp fried rice and the wonton soup. Definitely looking forward to trying more of their menu! ( I do wish there was a larger bubble tea selection, especially as I prefer popping boba or jelly to the usual tapioca, but that's not a serious failing lol)“
