“This was my first time trying Purdy's BBQ in Buckley and I was pleasantly surprised! The brisket was tender, the pulled pork smokey and delicious, but the surprise was the meatloaf. This meatloaf is one of the best I've ever had! For the sides I got hush puppies, potato salad, and the brisket chili and they were all fabulous as well. I had to try the smoked sausage sandwich and it was also very excellent! Will be back for sure!!“

“I used to stop in regularly and have a beer or two with my old neighbor Steve. We happened to be routed by due to the detour and swung in. Their new menu is amazing and the beer is always cold. Its been 10 years since I had a beer here with Steve and I wish we still lived just around the corner from the 'Beak. Cheers!“
