“Best deli in all of Seattle, hands down. The homemade kielbasa, the pierogis, the Reuben, and the George’s special (toasted) are all 10/10. I’m polish and these are better than my family could whip up. The team is fantastic too and so friendly!“

“Our first time here and have heard a lot of good things before. We ordered the popcorn chicken bento and the pork chop bento. Super delicious and everything is made fresh to order. Meat portions are very generous too! We ordered two bentos to share amongst three people and couldn’t finish! Will definitely come back.“

“I love this little fast food quick meals. The owner of this place is like family to al of the customers that come in. The food is fantastic, the service is also fantastic. Best cheese and bacon grits also best breakfast fried rice in the entire State of Washington.Note: You will have to wait for the bacon cheese grits until it gets cold. There is always the breakfast fried rice. Both are very good ??“

“I was looking for a “mom and pop” place that made homemade sandwiches. This place did not disappoint.
I ordered the Turkey Club on sourdough. I learned the Turkey was freshly pulled from turkeys they cook on site (not cold cuts). As you can see from the pic, the amount of food provided was extremely filling…they did not skimp. The sandwich came with chips or soup, so I opted for the chicken vegetable soup. No complaints for this dish either.“

“Very reasonably priced bahn mi. Good crunchy bread and fair portions. They dont skimp or overstuff.
This is more of a to go spot.
Nice menu and nice peeps. Have a large tea menu too.
Would have preferred a more authentic grill taste. But thats just me.
This is in the middle road of bahn mi with room to keep growing.
Would like to see a standout bahn mi here but i would definitely go back.
I am a bahn mi critic so keep that in mind.
I say go try it out. Its good and cheap on the go lunch breakfast or dinner.“

“Love it here! It’s a simple stop and shop with a great selection of food. From teriyaki, noodles, rice, to club sandwiches and a huge drink menu. Also, the staff are all super friendly. Great spot for a quick bite to eat. They also have half off the leftover food from their hot bar after 2:30 and they are dog friendly!“

“TOP SECRET SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM: You would never know that this little deli/convenience store tucked away in the Central District sells delicious soft serve ice cream in the summertime. These are your standard, no-fuss soft serve, and I love them. Creamy and light texture, not overly sweet, and no hefty outrageous prices. I think they cost $4/cone. The size in the photo is a small which is plenty big enough for me.
I'm a bit of a soft serve junkie, and some of the places I've been to recently include Indigo Cow, The Pastry Project, MOTO Pizza, and Temple Pastries' new ice cream and sandwich shop (that opened on July 5, 2024) and had some of their strawberry sumac vegan soft serve. Out of all of them, I think King's Deli has the best b/c it's simple and unfussy. And the price can't be beat. The atmosphere is nothing special but that's OK by me.
One caveat, be sure to call them before you go just to make sure the soft serve machine is ON. Sometimes when I've stopped by they haven't turned the machine on yet, and I have to come back though in the summertime, it's usually on all the time.
It's a hot tip secret and I aim to change that ?
Kid-friendliness: Kids (& adults!) love soft serve ice cream!“

“First time here and quite the surprise!! I fell in love with the lady behind the counter who was all smiles and extremely nice. Food was impeccable and generous portions with the taste to match. Now my new favorite deli near the duwamish river on harbor island. Check them out for lunch!!“

“I know it doesn't seem right to get teriyaki from a gas station but have some faith, they do it good here. I wish they fried the gyoza for me instead of pointing me to the hot case where it's been sitting awhile. But the teriyaki never disappoints and hey, you can pick up some allergy meds and a brass monkey or whatever you need“

“One of the best sandwiches i’ve ever had. Better than Jersey Mikes. Definitely order a custom sandwich. Don’t get the normal white sandwich bread, get the toasted hoagie. Perfectly toasted! My order was the pepper turkey, salami, cheddar, lettuce, red onion, pickle, and mayo. Delicious crispy sandwiches that hit the spot.“

“Love this place. Couple times a month I make the trek to get my fix of German Dill Pickles and Mustards. Sausages are the best. No more Oscar Mayer for me. Pickled beets, too. Yum Yum.“
