“To be honest I was hoping they would have black bean noodle but ilthey did not so instead I got a bowl of beef noodle soup. It was quite good, I usually get it from Mama Dough and I definitely noticed a big difference. This has more intense flavor (hot and spicy with a richer broth) and more meat as well as noodles. I've taken home their braised duck wings before and loved it. I've been craving more Taiwanese style food and will be putting this into rotation.“

“Authentic Vietnamese Food that’s delicious. Trek over to West Seattle and order some to enjoy with friends. It’s take out only, no dining inside but well worth your trip.“

“I love this little fast food quick meals. The owner of this place is like family to al of the customers that come in. The food is fantastic, the service is also fantastic. Best cheese and bacon grits also best breakfast fried rice in the entire State of Washington.Note: You will have to wait for the bacon cheese grits until it gets cold. There is always the breakfast fried rice. Both are very good ??“

“I was looking for a “mom and pop” place that made homemade sandwiches. This place did not disappoint.
I ordered the Turkey Club on sourdough. I learned the Turkey was freshly pulled from turkeys they cook on site (not cold cuts). As you can see from the pic, the amount of food provided was extremely filling…they did not skimp. The sandwich came with chips or soup, so I opted for the chicken vegetable soup. No complaints for this dish either.“

“Literally the best hidden gem 💎 the food is incredible, I haven't tried a menu item that wasn't top tier. The folks who own and operate this business are the kindest souls and always upbeat! 10-10 I would recommend to anyone new to the area as a must try!“

“This place is amazing! Had such a good banh mi here and a lychee jasmine tea! Both were delicious! The grilled pork banh mi was only $6.50 ish and had such fresh ingredients and flavor! The tea was also perfect, not too sweet or too bitter. Also the girl at the counter was really nice and friendly, great customer service. I will definitely come back!“

“TOP SECRET SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM: You would never know that this little deli/convenience store tucked away in the Central District sells delicious soft serve ice cream in the summertime. These are your standard, no-fuss soft serve, and I love them. Creamy and light texture, not overly sweet, and no hefty outrageous prices. I think they cost $4/cone. The size in the photo is a small which is plenty big enough for me.
I'm a bit of a soft serve junkie, and some of the places I've been to recently include Indigo Cow, The Pastry Project, MOTO Pizza, and Temple Pastries' new ice cream and sandwich shop (that opened on July 5, 2024) and had some of their strawberry sumac vegan soft serve. Out of all of them, I think King's Deli has the best b/c it's simple and unfussy. And the price can't be beat. The atmosphere is nothing special but that's OK by me.
One caveat, be sure to call them before you go just to make sure the soft serve machine is ON. Sometimes when I've stopped by they haven't turned the machine on yet, and I have to come back though in the summertime, it's usually on all the time.
It's a hot tip secret and I aim to change that ?
Kid-friendliness: Kids (& adults!) love soft serve ice cream!“

“Busy lunch time, and they serve everyone efficiently and politely. Surprisingly good selection, hot food selection, and making lots of stuff. Places to eat inside or get it to go... I did both: a Reuben for the road. My Americano was not hot enough, but I missed my name call, so it's on me. Regulars stand up front and wait. I will go again. Super convenient if you are at UWMC Harborview.“

“First time here and quite the surprise!! I fell in love with the lady behind the counter who was all smiles and extremely nice. Food was impeccable and generous portions with the taste to match. Now my new favorite deli near the duwamish river on harbor island. Check them out for lunch!!“

“I know it doesn't seem right to get teriyaki from a gas station but have some faith, they do it good here. I wish they fried the gyoza for me instead of pointing me to the hot case where it's been sitting awhile. But the teriyaki never disappoints and hey, you can pick up some allergy meds and a brass monkey or whatever you need“
“I pulled in here to make a phone call and ended up going inside I found a lot of different products I'd never seen before so I took a chance and I bought something called rosewater yogurt drink AMAZING !!! Stuff I'm definitely coming back again sometime“

“Love this place. Couple times a month I make the trek to get my fix of German Dill Pickles and Mustards. Sausages are the best. No more Oscar Mayer for me. Pickled beets, too. Yum Yum.“
