Midwest to the T. Delicious smash burgers, Cincinnati chili, friendly service. This place is a keeper.

My cousin and I were looking for a place not too far from my hotel and also having to do so quickly with a sweet crying baby in the car. Lol Found this place from the Yelp/reviews. Seemed like a popular place for the locals. Ordered the following... Grilled Salmon Salad Bristol Bay wild salmon, avocado, tomato, cucumber, red onion, shredded carrot, & creamy green goddess dressing. Famous French Onion Soup Baked, gruyere cheese, parmesan croutons, & green onions. Prime Rib Dinner (Available on Wednesday only) chose sides broccolini and loaded baked potato Everything was delicious! I enjoyed trying everything! The onion soup was so good and filling that I could have just had that for dinner. Lots of food left over and definitely shareable.

My sister and i stopped in for lunch today and had the nicest time. Everything from the ambiance to service was perfect. Our bartender Delaney B was very nice. Food was also super delicious and true hidden gem !

Nothing like a major let down. I was so looking forward to a juicy single smash burger and it was far from that. It appeared to have been cooked the day prior and heated for my takeout order. Had I been dine in, I would have rejected it. I could have gotten better from McDonalds and paid a fraction of the cost. I can't express enough how disappointing this was. Fries still good, but main entree was just shitty.

As always, a fantastic night at Fireside. Great food, service and ambiance. We love this place and it's become a favorite!

The space is trendy, romantic, & laid back - easy to get to in terms of being central to Burien downtown. Came here for happy hour & had a nice time. The artichoke dip is good & wine was tasty. The server was friendly & service was attentive. I hope to come back to try more of their dishes.

Stopped in today(sunday) early afternoon. Pretty quiet considering the amazing March weather. Definitely started to pick up right before we left. Food was awesome!!! Our server was super friendly and helpful with suggestions. Glad we found this place. We will definitely be back!!

This place is super cozy with great drinks. Their kale Caesar is bomb. I'm a wing lover and get them when i go most places and these were so absolutely tiny and over cooked it was like beef jerky. I was genuinely confused lol. I usually never send back food but my friend and I both agreed. The waitress right away comped the wings and I really appreciate that. I definitely wasn't looking for that, but again I do appreciate it. So great service. But if you're a wing person like me, maybe steer clear of them on the menu.

Beautiful atmosphere. Low light and thoughtful and pleasant everywhere one looks. One improvement would be to reduce the brightness of the TVs (easily accomplished). The service here is friendly and skilled. Big problem, however: the food. It is mediocre. Not good. The prime dip (a "French dip") was served in a stupid plastic red basket. Get real. It's $17 and in a restaurant. PLATE. Please. But it gets worse: the roll/bun is really pathetic. Like a hot dog bun, soft and squishy as if we're at a picnic in the park. Someone please tell the kitchen manager boss person that it's a restaurant. Get a real roll from a legitimate bakery. Texture. Crunch. It's a real thing in the art of making food people want to eat. Au jus was without flavor. Somebody (the owners) need to fix the food, hire a chef. Not make it fancy. Just stop making it embarrassing. Because this place is far too good looking to be serving such lame food. Everything else (especially the ambiance) is very nice. Hope they survive, because I'm a fan. But until the food is better, we order only drinks.

First, I'll say the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Food came out fast, and they even squeezed us between two reservations so we could sit down and eat. However, even though the menu is supposed to reflect Midwest style food, it leaves a lot to be desired. We ordered gumbo and the only thing that was right was the rice. Nothing about that dish was anywhere close to gumbo, too heavy on the salt, the roux "looked and ate" like a heavy, thick gravy, and it was impossible to taste anything else that was supposed to be in there. The fried fish sandwich was left in the fryer too long and the crumb coating was burnt. Now, the Salisbury steak was actually pretty decent, but it did not make up for the fact that the whole family left feeling a bit ill from the quality of the meals. I'm sure there are other dishes that might have been more to our liking but it's unlikely we'll be back to try them. Just not our speed.

Service was good, ambiance was comfortable, but the food was mediocre. When they first opened they had some really unique and delicious things on the menu, but the last two times I have gone, I have left disappointed. It was as if they made the Reuben sandwich an hour or two before and warmed it up under a broiler. The bread was like eating stale crust and the insides were not fresh. The salads are always good, so I would stick to that. I also find it odd that on a Friday night they serve your meal in a plastic red basket--would love a plate next time!
