“This was the best Thai food I've had in quite awhile. The phad thai was delicious as was the specialty dish we had. The vegetables were amazing. The meal was delightfully topped off with the best house-made cheesecake I've had in ages. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will be back. Many thanks. BBV”

“Fantastic brewery hidden in the heart of Cle Elum! Great atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. Kid friendly but with plenty of space for those looking to get away from the kiddos to spread out. Great selection on tap (we tried a few ciders, and an amber, and a blonde) and delicious food (we had the chicken tinga nachos and birria tacos). Welcoming and friendly staff/owners. Looking forward to our next visit!”

“Classic drive in. Great food, love the little dog park.”
“Dropped by this mid-size brewery on a whim, and it was a great call. Their lineup of beers was small BUT SOLID!—well-crafted with some standout flavors that kept me coming back for another sip (went back 3x). The atmosphere struck a nice balance between lively and relaxed, making it easy to enjoy the whole visit. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re in the area. Next door is a pizza place that's really good as well.”

“I really can't complain about this place because the food is good and it's at a perfect location if you're coming back from the mountains or a long drive along Interstate 90, but I will caution that when the weather is nice there can be a bit of a wait because a lot of people stop here for food. It's also pretty expensive and they charge service fees for little things like ketchup and stuff like that. If you're ordering a burger fries and a drink you're going to spend probably close to $30 per person. But when you want a good burger and fries after a day hiking or climbing in the mountains, you can't beat this place”

“I’ve been a regular at The Liberty Cafe for a couple of years and have found no better experience for quality food and reasonable prices. The atmosphere is friendly with both locals and tourists stopping in. Just be careful to make sure you’re hungry before ordering a full order of biscuits and gravy!”

“I got the caprese and chipotle sandwiches, and both were bursting with flavor. The Mexican mocha was rich, perfectly spiced, and such a comforting treat. Everything tasted fresh and well made. Yum!!!!! 🤤”

“Good coffee. Very friendly service. Not what I'm used to but I like the options. I asked for a large latte and I was counter asked, a 20oz or 24oz large? How many shots? I'm more accustomed to a single ask and it gets served to me. No real complaints. I do love that they open so early and the barrister is so kind and accommodating.”

“Cle Elum Bakery = Carb Heaven
Absolutely obsessed with this place. The pastries are so good they should come with a warning label. We stopped in “just for a donut” and walked out with a full bag like we blacked out in a sugar-fueled frenzy. Zero regrets. Breakfast burritos were also super tasty!
Everything was fresh, delicious, and dangerously addictive. Pro tip: grab everything you want on the first go, because there’s a $1 credit card fee — and let’s be real, you’re coming back for that second croissant anyway.
Only minor downside? Not a ton of seating. But honestly, I’d eat my bear claw standing in the parking lot if I had to. (And maybe I did.)
Highly recommend. 🥐🍩☕️”

“I stopped in for a snack and a drink. It was hot in there and it was 7:30 p.m. I'm guessing the AC was out. The place was not very busy but the bartender was friendly and I received quick service. The cheese curds were good, the blue moon was great. I like the atmosphere and the use of the old downtown building.”
“I wasn’t expecting anything special when I ordered the iced latte, but it ended up being one of the best iced latte I’ve ever tasted. A pleasant surprise that started my day.”

“Tucked away in the small mountain town of Cle Elum, El Caporal is an absolute gem. I wasn’t expecting to find a Mexican restaurant here, and normally wouldn't be my first choice, but it quickly became a highlight of my trip.
From the start, the owner himself seated me. He’s originally from Mexico, and his kindness and hospitality set the tone for the entire meal. The atmosphere was warm and familiar, the kind of place that makes you feel at home right away.
The food was where I was truly blown away. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The chips arrived warm, clearly homemade, and the salsa was just as fresh and flavorful. I ordered the chicken quesadilla, which came with guacamole, sour cream, black olives, and diced tomatoes on top. I don’t usually eat tomatoes, but these were so fresh and vibrant that I found myself picking them clean off the plate. The chicken inside was moist and succulent, and the guacamole on top was rich and freshly made.
It’s rare to find this level of freshness, care, and genuine hospitality in a small-town spot, but El Caporal delivers all of it. My stay in Cle Elum was short, but it won’t be my last — and this restaurant is a big reason why.”

“This place is great. There was a slight mistake with my order and Julia. The owner went out of her way to ensure the order was corrected. Most places won’t do that. She is a rockstar and her team is great. The pizza is even better!”
