We had a great first visit! Food was delicious, everyone friendly and welcoming, kid and dog friendly… we will be back!
We had the best time getting to know Kenny, Carolyn, and Mike! The hospitality is unmatched. We visited from Florida and extended our stay in Cle Elum largely because of them and how charming the town is. Make sure you hit up dirty trivia, bingo, white wine margaritas, and anything Birria!
Fantastic brewery hidden in the heart of Cle Elum! Great atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. Kid friendly but with plenty of space for those looking to get away from the kiddos to spread out. Great selection on tap (we tried a few ciders, and an amber, and a blonde) and delicious food (we had the chicken tinga nachos and birria tacos). Welcoming and friendly staff/owners. Looking forward to our next visit!

Mule & Elk Brewing is a popular spot for both locals and travelers, offering a welcoming atmosphere inside and outside that attracts a friendly crowd. Visitors can enjoy a delicious meal, such as their highly praised tacos, including Tinga, Quesabirria, and Birria taco, which are considered some of the best around. The brewery features a good selection of beers brewed on site, including a tasty dark and mild beer. Outside, guests can cozy up by the fire pit or heaters and enjoy the scenery with friends, kids, and even dogs. The staff are very friendly and the management is excellent. The brewery has a variety of seating options, including a cute outdoor area with privacy from the main road. Decor includes mountaineering memorabilia, such as a signed photo from the top of Mt. Everest, adding a cool touch. Visitors can also enjoy activities like darts, and although they sometimes run out of certain ingredients, the beer cheese and mustard for the pretzels are delicious, with fresh and doughy pretzels. The place is very family-friendly, welcoming kids and dogs alike. Regular events like movie and trivia nights make Mule & Elk Brewing a must-visit when in town.
