“The chicken is crispy and perfect every time. It’s easy to order ahead, just give them a call. My usual order is the original boneless wings and soy garlic boneless wings. The bone in wings are also fried perfectly, if you prefer. Pickled radish as a side is excellent.”

“If I could give Matthew & “White Branches” 100 stars I would. I come to Washington once a year from NC to see family. Today we were celebrating my Aunts 83rd bday and surprised her with a high tea at White Branches. It feels like a blend of Mad Hatter meets cabaret meets the coolest laid back vintage circus performance. We had the best time. The food and tea was amazing. I was able to have my own vegetarian tier too. We will 1000% be back on our next trip. Thank you for the great hospitality Matthew!!! We are now your #1 fans.”

It’s a long story, but cider from Cedardale Orchards is what brought us together! Long story short I visited Cedardale a couple years ago while on a car rally, and this amazing girl messaged me wanting some cider since I was up here anyway, well, we are now together and married! “Update: The manager contacted me and apologized for the my experience. She really seemed to care and wanted to rectify the situation. I really appreciate that find of customer service. I would definitely give them a second chance given that management seem to care about their customer service. The atmosphere is nice but if you want good service I would keep driving. We ended up getting our appetizers with our food. Some of our food was luke warm as if it was sitting for a bit and we only saw our waitress once; when she brought out our drinks. She seemed to be attentive to a few other tables, just not ours. The cook brought out the food then walked off without asking if we needed anything and since there weren't any condiments on the table we could have used some for our burgers but we ate them plain because we were done by that point. Very disappointed.”
