Best mussels I’ve had in the US. Our table ordered 3 mussels dishes: Saffron, White Wine and lemon Basil Cello. Each one was superb in its own right and our table could not decide which was best. They were all great.
But the bread situation was unfortunate. They were apparently out of their usual baguette-style garlic toast, and instead substituted cheap unseasoned, grocery store sliced white bread. It was - of course - inedible. Even more bothersome...

Stopped here on a whim while celebrating my birthday on Whidbey. The restaurant was decent inside and had lovely views of the water. The food was fine, nothing particularly amazing but it wasn’t bad. Just maybe not as good as the prices would suggest. I had the shrimp pasta and it was good, just richer and creamier than I expected. Our server was nice and professional. The hostesses and another server not so much. The hostesses were not particularly friendly or professional...

Mussels were in a terrible white wine sauce that tasted like they poured wine on the mussels and didn’t cook the broth.
I could smell the strong smell of wine across the table. Cooks were loud in the kitchen and obviously don’t care for quality.
