We had small beef feast for 2 and all the meat was AMAZING. Bean paste was AMAZING. The staff was SO helpful and delightful. Very handsome guy helped our table. It may be because of the high ceilings but the restaurant also didn’t have the super strong KBBQ smell. Which honestly was very nice! All around cannot recommend enough!“

“This is my absolute favorite brewery in the Renton area, no comparison. It is a family-owned business specializing in authentic German beer. There are also some other options if you’ve made a wrong turn in your life and don’t enjoy German beer.

As creeped into my late 30s, beer started to hurt my stomach. This is the only place I will consistently drink beer from now, as I’ve never experienced this issue here. I don’t know if it’s the ingredients or the way it’s brewed, but I’m so happy I can continue to imbibe such delicious creations at such a cute spot.

Other highlights: Dogs allowed inside & on the small patio, Plentiful dog treats, Friendly bartenders & patrons, Board games, Slightly off the main drag & a bit quieter, Growler fills.

Of note, this is a beer-focused establishment and no (meal-sized) food is on site. There are a ton of restaurants in the area, and you can always bring food into the brewery to eat.“

“The food tastes delicious, but be prepared to eat any burrito without sour cream or avocado over a plate: they do not hang together enough for car eating. I got vegetarian so I didn't have any problems but the partner and kid both created showers of rice and beans all over the car.“

“By far, the BEST vietnamese coffee/boba fusion in Washington!! All of the drinks were delicious and flavorful. My family loved it and we will be coming back! My favorite was the Ube one! The only downside is it is more expensive than regular boba places. In addition, the quantity is definitely a lot less considering it’s in a “can” style cup.“

“We had our favorite dishes: (breaded) fish tacos and fish 'n chips. Both were very well prepared and tasty. Breading could be thicker - it's too light to soak up much melted vinegar. Chopped mango sprinkled on the tacos add a nice flavor twist.
Servings were generous for all but large appetites. Take home boxes a plus.“

“Of course, being from Chicago and Polish....had to try it. Walter (one of the owners) is truly concerned about his guests having a positive experience. Dan is a great bartender... very attentive and Mandy recommended their pickle soup and we were not disappointed. The sampler platter was very tasty and cooked to perfection. “The naem khao was PERFECT! I'm a bit too lazy to make this dish at home, so it was a treat to have it finally :) It was super duper! They provided plenty of lettuce and also extra cilantro & mint. I was a bit surprised that the staff never came around to fill our waters or check on us after bringing the food, but it was fine. We didn't need anything, but it's just a nice formality that I'm used to at other places. I also ordered the tom khem, thai coffee, and thai tea. The tom khem was WAY too salty, and they didn't give enough rice to balance the saltiness of the soup. It was good flavor, but I would've preferred the sweetness to come through a little more than the saltiness. The pork belly in the soup was very tender and delicious. The thai tea was WAY too sweet as well. I had to water it down for it to be more enjoyable. I'm the type of person that enjoys the boldness of a thai tea, and the sugar just overpowered the unique flavor of the thai tea which was a little upsetting. I think the sweetness level on the thai coffee was also a bit too much, but it seemed to work better since coffee itself is more bitter. Overall, I would come again just for the naem khao. I would like to try my other favorite dish, Lad Na, but I'm worried they might make it too salty based on my experience with the tom khem. 4/5“

“What an adorable little coffee shop. Originally went needing a simple breakfast and got an everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. It’s one of the better west coast bagels this East coaster has had. The woman who owns and runs the little stand is so nice and helpful. She picked flavors for my coffee drinks and they were so good. It was such a lovely experience that I went back the next morning. This time I got a breakfast burrito and muffin with a latte. And this combo is highly recommended. The burrito is small but very filling. I will just say that it is drive through only and if there is a line can get a tad dicey with how cars are lined up. But I highly recommend stopping by if you are near.“

“We saw the food truck at lunchtime so decided to stop and try something new. We got the fried chicken torta, a side of fries and elote (corn). Our total for all was $28. It was served in about 6 minutes, and it was delicious! We really enjoyed the food. We would return again in the future.“

“To David Nguyen, that left the poor rating today. I witnessed the exchange between you and the taproom manager this afternoon. I suspect you were very distracted with the kiddos as you arrived at the front door because the sign that show the tap room as 21 + is clearly visible as you come to the front door. See attached picture. The manager was flat out professional and courteous to you and the other employee was trying to be solution oriented with the suggestion to accommodate you situation by setting up seating outside the 21+ area. This is a great business and the service is ALWAYS excellent! You come back without the kiddos and I’ll be happy to buy you a round.“

“I've grown up with Cave Man and have visited there many times in the past 30 years. I recently had some good friends from Baltimore here and I brought them to Cave Man. The food was outstanding as usual. The staff made a couple of recommendations for my friends which they loved (Dragon Wheels were a favorite). I had my personal favorite, the dinosaur poor boy. We ate there in the covered area outside. It was perfect to keep the October chill off of us, but still allowing us to be outdoors. It is relatively expensive, BUT, the quality of the food is worth the extra cost. Truth is, everything is more expensive too........“

“Frugals is worth the drive. Such delicious food, I love the bacon cheeseburger and the halibut sandwich, their fries are my favorite kind and their milkshakes are so delicious. The neighborhood is sketch but don't let that stop you from getting a vastly superior burger to any of those major chains.“
