The food was so good and the dining view is unbeatable
Food was fine. but sadly they close the top floor during summer, which has the most beautiful view.
Heather Meadows Café is a perfect mountain pit stop, serving up the best cheese sandwiches on the mountain—gooey, satisfying, and exactly what you crave after hours on the trail. Heather Meadows Cafe offers decent quality but slightly overpriced food in a cozy area with a panoramic view. The highlight is their Veggie Reuben sandwich, made with roasted zucchini, Swiss cheese, cabbage kraut, and 1000 Island dressing. Despite the presence of supposedly eight cats, only one was spotted, appearing nonchalant towards guests. The cafe is a welcoming spot, especially during off-season, serving a delicious soup of the day and fantastic baked goods, including top-notch chocolate chip cookies. The friendly staff make it a nice respite from the weather.
