We were in town to vacation. This restaurant got really good reviews so we made a reservation. The views in ambience were incredible. Our waiter was wonderful and anticipated. All our needs. The food was good and I would highly recommend anyone in the Seattle area making a reservation.
Service has been very friendly, but lacking in timeliness, on the last two visits. This time, not the server's fault; it took us 17 minutes to get seated when there was plenty of room and we had reservations. People who came in behind us were seated ahead of us. Party of 3. Water never got filled, even though I asked. I waited tables for 2 years, the last at a very high-class restaurant where food was prepared tableside at times and tuxedos were worn. I can't imagine...
This is my 4th dinner at Salty's. We go there on special occasions and they never disappoint. The service is always excellent and the food is always wonderful. The view of downtown Seattle is a very enjoyable bonus. I highly recommend this restaurant.
