“I've been reviewing places across this country for over a decade. This Happy teriyaki restaurant is the absolute best Japanese food I've had in a very long time. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful & very very clean. The woman serving us was such a charming sweet woman whom instantly made us feel very welcomed and our service was very fast. Food to the table after we ordered in under 10 minutes. Presentation of the food was phenomenal. very well put together. I highly recommend anyone looking for some amazing Japanese food THIS IS YOUR PLACE! Happy teriyaki in Dupont Washington. Absolute well deserved five star! It's so refreshing to actually find a very good restaurant!“

“we ordered several items from ramen to dumplings to fried rice to chicken curry katsu and everything was absolutely amazing! the best ramen I have ever had! will be coming back as a frequent diner for sure! highly recommend!!! Lastly the staff was so on point from taking our order to checking on us through out the meal! kudos to your entire staff!!!!“

“We showed up and right away were greeted and sat at 1 of their 2 tables, they have a row of bar chairs at the counter. They served us ice water and warm edamame, then ordered: I got the Salmon Lemon Roll and the Alaska Roll. My s/o got the Chirash. We both LOVED our choices. After we were done and paid we each received a thick juicy orange slice and a 12oz bottle of apple juice. We grabbed a to-do menu and left. We will definitely be coming back soon.“
