The service was great no customers for lunch while I was there. My pulled pork was like eating hay. It was so dry it was hard to swallow. The baked beans had good flavor but had the texture of refried beans. Probably chilled and reheated over and over. The spicy Mac & Cheese was not edible. No cheese whatsoever only elbow macaroni, butter and canned jalapeño chiles. I won’t be back. Waste of money.

I'm sure glad I didn't see the reviews before I tried Tin Hut barbeque. I might have missed this place. When it comes to barbeque, everyone's a critic, but I can't say enough good things about this place. The locals keep this place hopping at lunchtime, but there always seems to be a place to park and a table available. This is straight up one of my favorite places to eat. The brisket is always tender and moist. I love it in their tacos with slaw. Pick your own sauce and lay it on however you like. Hot sauce too.The sidewinder fries are a must. I haven't had anything like these anywhere else. Finally, I want thank the owner of Tin Hut BBQ for recently putting together a free breakfast for local veterans. It's become trendy to thank Vets these days but you put your money where their mouths are! Haha! Thanks again.

I’m not gonna say the beef brisket was bad but with everybody’s pictures that they posted in their reviews made it seem a little like I was gonna get slices of brisket and it was fall apart quality and when I received mine it was cut up into cubes and really tough Flavor not so bad at all but it’s nothing that I was

Disappointed in the food and service, the place was clean though. We live 7 minutes away and have been wanting to try this place for awhile. I went in for take out and that seemed to confuse and annoy the 2 workers who came strolling out of the back after a bit of waiting (I was the only customer)Smoked chicken was very tough, dry, and flavorless, and sounded like a brick when they tossed it on the grill to warm up from the fridge. The pulled pork sandwich had no sauce and meat was shredded, like it had been in a blender. The meat was not bland but not very tasty either. The bun was dry and stale. Even after warming the bun on the grill and adding sauce. the sandwich was still not edible. The sides were horrible as well. MacN Cheese noodles were extremely over cooked, brown, and had no hint of cheese. Just bland over cooked pasta. The potato salad looked and tasted JUST liked Resers from the grocery store, had no flavor, and the potatoes seemed oddly textured. We support small local businesses, love bbq, and really wanted like this place, but nope. We'll keep searching and driving north to find good bbq.

Unsanitary. The cook that was on the grill was talking on his cellphone while making the food and put his phone in his back pocket and continued with making the food . His gloves should have been changed . The female that was on the register, was putting in a batch of fries with no gloves on and came back to the register like nothing happened . My cookie was half raw and first stated she couldn't refund my cash because the manager was out . She ended up just giving me the money back because she had no other choice . Why isn't the staff properly trained on how to conduct a refund when there is no management on duty ? I will not be coming back to this establishment . This incident happened on November 30th at 12pm.

We are always interested in supporting local and veteran owned business but this one was very disappointing. What first stood out was how quick we received our food. I'm sure it took less than 7 minutes from the time we paid for the order to receiving the to-go boxes. My husband and I tried this place for the first time today. We had really high hopes but sadly we were very disappointed. Staff was very friendly yet seemed dis interested (if that is possible). The food was bland to say the least. I got the tri-tip which was very chewy with no flavor. My husband got the brisket sandwich...DRY! All the sides were very salty and tasted like they came from a can. Hopefully this business can turn itself around.

I read a lot of reviews that were 3 stars and absolutely didn't mind that the baked beans were originally canned that they added stuff to, they were still really good. I got the pork sandwich and the meat was tender and flavorful as was the sauce. What was very disappointing was the store bought potato salad. I've never gone tho a BBQ place that did not make their own potato salad as it's almost as signature as the sauce. This is an easy fix as potato salad is so easy to make and I highly suggest you do

I was very disapointed in their bbq. As someone who has had bbq in a lot of the south, this didn't hit. I had the beef brisket plate w/ mac and cheese and bbq beans as my side. The brisket came out in chunks and had zero smoke ring. I think it was more chuck roast then a brisket.very dry and no fat cap on the meat. Beans seemed to be canned and doctored with bacon. Mac and cheese was just tasteless.Just pass on this place. Super disappointed that I said this because it's vet owned business .

Stopped in for lunch. First time.Staff very friendly. Think the owner was there as we were met asking if we have been here before. Gave us some suggestions.Ordered the 2 item meat plate.Tri tip and smoked sausage (spicy Louisiana type). Tri tip was good. Wasn't tough like a shoe heel and pretty moist. Get your own sauce from a couple squeeze bottles.Sausage had some grilled peppers and onions which was a nice touch.Beans...ehhh. Decent enough. I don't think they were anything to brag about. Sidewinder fries dipped in the bbq sauce was good. Want to go back to try a bbq bowl with beans, Mac n cheese and choice of meat.

This is okay bbq. I wish they had a kids menu and that portions of the sides were bigger, and that the plates came with bread. We prefer regular brisket and this was chopped brisket.Kid-friendliness: No kids menu.

Food was quite pricey for limited quantities received. Service was good and friendly. Not sure if I would call it BBQ so much as meat with BBQ sauce. Smoke flavor seemed artificial and not authentic from a smoker.
