The food was great but three stars turns out to be weaker than other places. (By my scale anyway.) As far as the atmosphere goes... It kind of has more of a generic bistro look than a Thai or even generic Asian look. It seemed clean and comfortable though.“

Ordered the fruity French toast. 3 big thick slices of bread, with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream The bread only had egg wash on one side, as if they poured the egg on the flattop and set the bread on it, As these were thick slices, the rest of it was just dry bread. Not what we expected. We thought it would be dipped and covered in egg. The silverware is the basic stamped out cafeteria style utensils and takes away from the overall experience of this otherwise homey ambience.“

“First our waitress was to much in a hurry taking our order. Then brings us wrong food. When food arrives we sit and have no utensils. Had to ask a whole different waiter for service. Forgot several items and had to wait longer. The food was not good , I took one taste and ended up going to the bathroom to throw up. Either they had a major change or just was a bad day. Cuz I remember having a good meal a few years back when they opened.“

“Honestly, I did not expect this alehouse to serve food this good.

I was a little surprised when I saw a Monte Cristo on the menu, since that's not something you see at all - let alone in a bar. I ended up getting it, and it was surprisingly solid.
It's kind of a mix between a French Toast and a ham sandwich. The bread is very French toast-like, being dipped in egg, grilled, and topped with powdered sugar. Meanwhile, the inside has deli meat and cheese.

This mix worked really well here. The bread was very fluffy, crispy, and well-toasted. I didn't get *too* much of an egg flavor, but I got enough that it would suffice as an average French toast bread.
What was nice, though, was how well the cheese melted on the inside. The ham and turkey tasted great as a combination with the cheese.
I got saltiness, sweetness, and savoriness from each bite.
The jam that they provided for dipping also just added to the unique experience of it all.

For a side, I had the macaroni salad, which I also really enjoyed.
The price ended up being around $24, which was a little expensive but not terrible.

Overall, this was interesting food to have at an alehouse that was actually pretty solid. 8/10“

Ordered my usual spaghetti with marinati sauce, now advertised as being "spicy" as preactically non eatable. Much too much pepper added for my taste. Verbally complained but was barely listened to.“

“Had a small mistake made by an employee while making the payment. When I realized and asked about it, they handled it and fixed professionally, hence rating 5 stars for service. Got an acai bowl which was good. The place is a bit too cold to eat an acai bowl in the winter though 😄 I parked at a nearby apartment’s retail parking and there are some street parking, but not sure if there’s other designated, more convenient parking spots.“

“A girlfriend and I met for breakfast at a different port orchard location. Despite the sign on the door displaying their hours as being open, the lights were on, the place was empty, and the doors were still locked. We left and decided to take a chance going to the family pancake house just up the street. Though it seemed early to me on a Saturday morning (9:15 am) the place was buzzing, there were bright eyes, smiling faces, and tables filling with people of all ages from small children to seniors. There was no wait, as the seating is plenty. Our server was a familiar, friendly face and we felt welcome to be there. The menu had many delicious options and was accommodating to my dietary restrictions. Everything about this place made me love Port Orchard that much more. And instead of leaving a poor review for the other restaurant, I felt compelled to leave a raving one here instead!“

“Great selection of steak options and excellent service. I tried the Wagyu Steak and Frites. The only problem was that I ordered medium rare and it was cooked medium (no pink). The server took it back to the kitchen and had them cook another. It turned out better the second time around, but the other people eating with me had to wait. You would think that a nice cut of meat like Wagyu, the kitchen would be more careful not to overcook it.“

I can feed my whole family for $40, which is nearly impossible today even at factory farm fast food places. It’s great to know you can still get healthy delicious food, especially in Monroe. “The Redmond bella Bottega mod pizza continues to perform very well. Even when they get slammed they still make a neat pizza. And cook it to appropriate temperature. They have a nice selection of toppings and their sauce and crust is above average. For the money, 5+ stars. The boutique artisan pizza places near by are 3x the cost but not even close to 3x better. Mod is an outstanding “go to” for a good quick casual meal. Perfect location to get a meal

“Thoroughly enjoyed the Pho Dac Biet! Very flavorful broth with fresh ingredients. Called in an order to go and the food was finished in exactly the time quoted. Started the meal with egg rolls and finished with the combination fried rice. Updated menu and prices are published. Will go again when I am in this area.“

“I enjoyed my visit to Stone Korean. The I tried the Hot Pot Bi-bim-bap ($25); they served it in a stone bowl, smokin' hot, and as my friend advised I immediately mixed in the egg and stirred it so the rice wouldn't burn. Very tasty! I also tried their Beef Bulgogi and it was excellent.

It can be a bit loud if there's a noisy group in there — as there was when I visited — and the prices are bit high for lunch, but I'd definitely come back again.“
