We had an outstanding experience at Charcoal. Its location near the ferry terminal gives it a great refined casual feel and makes for a wonderful atmosphere. Their service and hospitality are top-tier—they handled our early-arriving guests smoothly and made everyone feel welcome immediately. Our server was exceptionally patient and helpful, guiding us through menu choices and thoughtfully checking if my parents' dish preferences were already covered in the 4-person platter...
Excellent restaurant. The menu was very creative with unique flavor profiles that piqued our interest. We want to come back and try more dishes asap! Drinks are really well made, the service is top-notch...we wanted for nothing, but nobody hovered. The clam appetizer is worth the price of admission by itself...one of those dishes that leaves you thinking about it for a long time. Can't wait to return.
