The restaurant was lovely and the staff was wonderful. I ordered a steak for over $40 that was so bland and dry. I've had better at Buzz Inn and I could easily make better myself. With the high cost of everything today I just expect better when I'm paying so much more to eat out.
Emory's is a joy to visit. Great food (parmesan crusted cod, halibut and lake house burger), attentive service, awesome desserts (bourbon caramel apple cheesecake, chocolate cake). To say the least, enjoyed it all & never felt rushed. Thank you Emory's!!!
Service by our actual server was sub par. The manager and others were excellent. At one point the music was turned up very loud, which means everyone started talking louder. I could hardly hear my table mates. We asked the manager to address it and she did have the volume lowered immediately. Sound is an issue in the establishment. They have some soft fabric in a couple of places, but honestly its not enough. No one wants to go to a nice dinner and have to practically yell just...
