Cafe Rio is the restaurant I would choose if I could only have one restaurant on an island or anywhere nearby, I could eat it every day of my life and never get sick of it. If you haven’t tried the SWEET PORK, that succulent sweet sweet pork, you need to, it’s life changing! Also their creamy tomatillo sauce, green chile sauce, and tres leches should be on a type of Mount Rushmore. It’s not true Mexican food, but such a great twist/fusion/brilliant food chemistry done right....
Love Cafe Rio and living in Portland we have to go to Idaho or even closer, Seattle to get our fix. Had a great visit to this location. Best horchata of any restaurant and mix it with some coke or DP for a great dirty drink!
I hope they have an option on their App to have for the nacho queso sauce on the side instead of on the chips to avoid it being soggy.
