“Honestly this place is amazing. Hidden gem for sure. When you walk inside it looks anticlimactic a subpar food establishment. I was lured in from the reviews and they did not disappoint. 10/10 hands down. We loved every one of the 5 entrees we ate and the prices and portions were impressive (dessert too) One massive suggestion we agreed upon need large photos of each dish because in this particular demographic most folk don’t know exactly what the names of dishes and ingredients are when we read from the menu.“
“All those truckers and longshoremen near the Port of Tacoma must be keeping this a tight lipped secret. I purchased a Toasted George with a side of potato salad. The potato salad was good, don't get me wrong order it if you like potato salad. But the toasted sandwich was SOOOOOO good. This is the place to go if you want a hearty, sloppy sandwich in Tacoma. I'm not a dainty lady and can usually put away a good amount of food in one sitting, but I had to save some of my sandwich for later. On top of the food being wonderful, lady who was working there was very kind and helpful. I will definitely be coming back here and bringing friends to share it with.“

“Hubby's classic was huge with lots of meat. My BBQ chicken was less stuffed, but still generous. Both were mild. I'd like more pickle to the veg and a little more heat from the peppers. Bread was terrific, but the chicken meat was pressed and disappointing.All in all I'd return, but I wouldn't get the chicken, and I'd ask for extra peppers.“
“I’ve been eating at this place for the last two years and it is the most delicious, amazing food that you can get in the area for the price. The couple that runs the place are absolutely amazing human beings and every order is made made with love. Try any item on the menu, I promise you will not be disappointed. My favorite is the BLTA on sourdough or the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast burrito for breakfast. Absolutely Delicious!“
“It was packed when we got there. Not very loud at all, but there were people waiting at nearly every table. The staff was very personable & helpful. Joe's has fresh & tasty ingredients of impressive quality. I would definitely hit this place again. You could order a wrap, hoagie, burger, sandwich, chicken teriyaki. They had a lot of selection.“
“My wife and I have been trying to get into Aunt Becky's Deli for over a year, unfortunately they close at 3:00 and are not open on weekends. Yesterday I had the day off and we managed to get there in time for lunch. They have a large variety of sandwiches and other daily specials. We both had a turkey sandwich which was delightful. The lady that ran the place was very helpful friendly and made our experience well worth while.“
“Always on the search for good beef noodle soups, this place is pretty good! The braised pork rice bento is very good as well.My only suggestion for improvement is using a different type of noodle; the beef and broth is great but the noodles are reminding me of pasta linguini noodles a bit too much.“
“Friendly and fast service from mom and pop shop in Auburn. Passed thru on my way back home and this cute cafe has fast and friendly service in a low key environment. Food was tasty ? especially the spicy chicken teriyaki and the chicken katsu burger. Must try!“
“This tiny Deli is located in one corner of a larger performance/event space with a view of the waterfront. We stopped by for lunch and really enjoyed the sandwiches that we ordered. I'd easily give them a 4.5 stars for the food. Tasty, freshly prepared, and reasonably priced. Unfortunately I'd give them 3 stars for ambiance and accessibility. They are in an event space and have a few tables generally in front of their counter. They are subject to the disruptions from groups setting up for events. (When we were there a rock group was setting up on risers.) They are located on the back (water side) of a large commercial/residential block. Although there was a sign seemingly directing us into the parking garage, we never did find a route from the garage to the deli and ended up walking the entire outside perimeter of the building to find the entrance. Clear signage would be a big plus. So good food, but challenging location. Probably really nice in the summer when outside seating along the waterfront would be available. Worth a stop if you are in the neighborhood.“
“This Texaco is more than a Texaco, it is part of a continuity. The family that runs it is super friendly and polite, not to mention they make the best sandwiches around. I loved to frequent here while working at a nearby warehouse and still have several friends that go here daily for lunch. You can't find better, faster, or more friendly service this side of the Mississippi. I love this store!“
“This grocery store is one of those hidden gems that you love going to once in a while. I often pick up frozen pilmeni when I'm in the area, but they have a delightful pickled vegetable section and the desserts are awesome. The deli section, I haven't tried myself, but there's a lot of options and choices. Staff is friendly and answers all of your questions and the place is clean and tidy. If you're looking for European (mainly Russian/Ukrainian items), this is the right place to be!“
