5 star every. Single. Time. I wish I wasn't moving away. This restaurant makes you feel so welcome the minute you walk in the door! They bring you hot rolls and butter 😁, roasted peanuts so you don't get hungry while you wait.They treat you like they were expecting you and just want you to sit down and enjoy yourself until they can bring you something to drink.
If you have peanut allergies this is not the place for you. Peanut shells on floor. Be careful walking if your unsteady. Great food. We had NY Strip, Ribeye and Prime Rib. All cooked as we ordered. The sweet potato fries were perfect and not burned which is a big plus. Friendly staff. Took a little for initial contact with the waitress but was great after that. She refilled our drinks often. Would definitely go back.
Jimmy Mac's is a recommend for sure. The unique atmosphere created with all the peanut shells on the ground and the quality of the staff makes it a must go if you're in the area.
Food wise it's good, not a revelation but hearty and tasty! I wasn't disappointed by any of dishes I tried. A high 7/10 in my book
