Went again this time with another houseguest… everything and I mean Everything was just great
I am spreading the word (our experience) from now on… two visits and two great meals can’t be coincidence… these people know their businesses!

Wow! We had lunch on 7/3. Attentive service and atmosphere were outstanding. Huge and varied offering selection. Everything was cooked to perfection. Large portions. Moderately priced.

They changed the recipe for the Japanese Ceviche. Everything else in terms of quality has gone down hill.

Interior of Aji Koharu is calming and shelters customers from the rush of traffic on Hwy 99. The food was excellent: well prepared, presentation of various items enhanced the meal, the flavor and texture of the variety of sashimi was each distinct and appreciated. The portions are generous and thank goodness fulfilling of the appetite of our adolescent boys. The adults were also pleased by the generous portions which some of them shared with the young men. Happy diners all around. Some suggestions: music can be less intrusive and unavailable menu items need to be communicated to customers before they look at the menu to make their selection. This can spare disappointment of customer and avoid lost/waste of time for wait staff and customer. We'll share our delight with Aji Koharu with our friend groups and we have made plans to return for more if the excellent dishes at Aji Koharu.

Best sushi

This is a restaurant I’ve really come to love recently. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and I was very satisfied with the service as well. I think I’ll be coming here often from now on.

I love sashimi, and the quality was very good. I was surprised to see some expensive fish included in the sashimi combo. The service was friendly, and the beer was on special, which made the meal feel like a great value. Overall, I was very satisfied with my dining experience.

First time here. We arrived as they opened for dinner on a Fri night. Free tea is a nice touch :) We ordered 3 rolls plus 2 apps. The jalapeno/crab appetizer was amazing! They brought a roll we didn't order, but realized it AFTER we took our first bite, unfortunately. It was baked! Gross warm mayo doesn't go well with sushi. It definitely wasn't our thing. We didnt end up getting what we originally ordered. The spicy tuna didnt taste fresh. It had an aftertaste.

Service was ok. They started to get busy and they forgot about us towards the end.

We are mixed about this place. Might do a 2nd chance if we happened to be in town, otherwise, it was good not great.

Our bill with tip was almost $100.

Friendly and attentive staff. Food was great and portions larger than expected. Water, club soda, miso soup, and extra wasabi provided no extra charge. And attentive to a food allergy issue. Will go back.

I used to come here at least every 2-3 weeks. They changed owners and it’s gone downhill. They got rid of the ahjuma that has worked there forever due to her age, even though she was the best server there. They had two kids working there and the place was packed. Our food took about 40 mins to come out. No one came to check on us while we waited for our food or after. Our tea and water was never refilled. The food was mediocre. The previous owners always made the presentation beautiful. I asked for sake and never got it, but was charged for it. I have always asked for extra shiso leaves and the sushi chef said that they couldn’t give me any cuz it was for decoration and they didn’t have enough.

Needless to say I will not be coming back and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Been her a few times, nice environment, service is good. Quality has declined though. Sushi used to taste fresh, missing certain toppings on my order, maybe that was just a hiccup. Usually runs around 100$ for 2 people so quality is highly expected. Will give it one more try these days but would not recommend now.
