Based on the reviews, Szechuan Impression is a great local Chinese restaurant in Twin Lakes. It replaced Magic Wok but offers similar offerings with an expanded menu, including more spicy Szechuan dishes. The food quality has improved, and the portions are definitely bigger. The food is seasoned much better, with dishes like sliced fish delight, cashew chicken, spicy fried fish, beef chow mein, and crispy garlic chicken (what other places call general tso chicken) receiving praise. The Dan Dan noodles and Szechuan beef are also amazing. One dish, the Szechuan chicken, was a little too salty but still great. The Chicken Chow Mein Individual Dinner Combo is a complete steal, with a portion size enough for two. The service is great, courteous, and friendly. The staff is a plus, with quick serving. The location is okay with plenty of parking. The inside has not changed from the previous restaurant. The food is tasty and served hot. The quality and consistency has been superb. Customers will definitely come back, even in the mood for spicy Chinese food.
