Drove out to Wauna/Gig Harbor to pick up some fresh oysters from Minterbrook and had a really good experience. The process was super easy, prices were decent, and the oysters were incredibly fresh and delicious. Literally straight from the oyster fields and all still live when you buy them.

Minterbrook Oyster Company is a well-established and well-run establishment, known for its kind, inviting, and knowledgeable owners. The property is organized and clean, reflecting the care they put into their work. The recently renovated dining and food preparation area is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The oysters are extremely fresh, caught the same morning, and available for purchase in the retail store, which also sells oyster knives and wine. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including grilled and raw oysters, as well as steamed clams. This place is truly a hidden gem for fresh seafood lovers, with the oysters and clams being incredibly fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. The customer service is top-notch, with friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming staff who are happy to assist visitors. Minterbrook Oyster Company is also expanding, with plans to open a restaurant right off the Purdy Bridge in 2026. Whether picking up oysters fresh from the farm or enjoying a delicious meal, Minterbrook Oyster Company remains a great destination.
