“Our new go to place when crossing the pass. Stopped here on the way up to Leavenworth to get a quick bite. Went in not thinking anything special. We were promptly greeted by host/waiter who was extremely friendly/personable ordered drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere. Drinks came, ordered food and didn’t have to wait long to start munching down. Everything was seasoned good, the sauces that coated the proteins were spot on, had distinct flavor, but wasn’t overbearing. Especially enjoyed the corn app and the homemade chips and table salsa from the get go. Definitely beat any expectations we had rollin’ in so much so that 3 days later we had to hit them up again on the way back home. The menu isn’t full of crazy options, but everything we had was on point. Highly recommend, amazing staff and incredible food. Salud.”

“You go to this place for the view. It's a tourist stop to be sure (it's all about the filming location for the old Harry and the Henderson's movie, which I loved, but didn't realize when I went). The coffee is pretty good, but nothing beats the view. There's a very nice little gazebo looking right at Mt. Index. There is no indoor seating but again - it's about that killer view! Note: there's no cell service in this spot (at least for AT&T).”

“One of best pizzas I ate lately. We ordered Caribbean, and it was so yummy. It definitely will be our must stop after hikes on HwY 2”

“We randomly stopped here once for a post hike treat, and this has become our “must stop” spot anytime we drive past it. My partner loves it so much that he even saved this place on HIS phone. We always get the milkshakes, so can’t speak to any of their other options.
Some favorite flavors are the Green Tea Cookies & Cream (sounds like it would be questionable but it’s SO good), Thai Tea, and London Fog! Found out that they may be out of the more exotic ice cream flavors, especially if you go in the late fall/ winter, but hopefully they’ll be back in the summer!”

“As a business owner, I know how crucial great service is to keep customers coming back. My family and I, including my wife, 13-year-old son, 3-year-old daughter, and our 2-month-old baby, had an outstanding experience at Mountain View Diner thanks to Courtney. After a long day, Courtney’s warm service truly stood out. She even offered to hold our baby so could enjoy a meal without interruption—a thoughtful touch that made our time there truly special. It’s not often you find someone willing to go above and beyond like that. The food was excellent, but it’s the exceptional service from Courtney that will bring us back. Thank you for showing what great hospitality looks like!”

“We used the river house as our wedding venue and it was absolutely stunning!!! I would highly recommend this venue simply because of the amazing scenery with the Mountain View’s and river. The space is roomy as we had about 130 guests and was plenty of room. We rented the bush house out for the wedding party and it went perfectly since it was walking distance. We did pictures there and were able ti get ready and hang out in a large space. They were flexible with our requests for dogs in the wedding and bringing supplies early. They allowed us to pick our own vendors, do Costco alcohol with a licensed bartender and we had the venue to ourself the whole day until 11pm. (Quiet time is 10pm tho) My only suggestions if you are considering using them is the location is far to get vendors to get there. Airbnb’s are somewhat limited and there are very few hotels. Have a plan b rain plan or get a tent! We needed it. They don’t have any table/chairs or tents at the venue so we had to rent separately and get delivered which is an added cost to keep in mind. Day of staff were extremely attentive and friendly and were so easy to work with! however months prior to the event I had a hard time getting email responses a few times from Cathy. As the day approached closer they did get better replying to my questions but I did get worried at one point about that but continued to follow up and it all worked out.”
