Fantastic food, the gumbo was some of the best. Halibut was very good, but small portions for the amount for what it cost. Black eye pea stew was terrific. Good wine selection. Everything was very tasty but expensive.
Visited Arleana's when they opened and thought the food was mediocre. Under Executive Chef Jacob Howell, the food is SUPERB! Visited for dinner on Tuesday and returned for brunch yesterday. Both meals were sooooo tasty! The salmon for the brown-stewed dinner dish was cooked perfectly; the chicken and biscuit at brunch was a treat for my taste buds! I am not a fan of pimento cheese, but I would happily have that spread on ANYTHING. The Brussels sprouts we ordered were so good, I asked for some to go and they heated up nicely in my air fryer. If you've visited before - give it another try - you WILL NOT be disappointed!!!!!

Arleana’s is one of the best brunches we’ve ever had! The food was very flavorful and portions were generous. So great to have a place in the area that does Southern and Caribbean style food very well.We tried the catfish, the crawfish boudin soul rolls, and the hushpuppies with jerk maple. We completely cleaned our plates and loved every bite. The staff is amazing and checked on us so often. The atmosphere was very bright and welcoming. There is free parking in the garage below the building for customers.We’ll definitely be back for dinner sometime.

I went to this restaurant on a Saturday at 5pm. Arriving at the restaurant my friend and I were the only ones since the restaurant had just opened back up for the day. The host asked us if we had a reservation and we said no, he proceeded to seat us and we sat there staring at each other for about 20 minutes waiting for someone to come take our order. Once we got our food the food was okay. I ordered oxtail with the mashed potatoes and my friend ordered oxtail with the rice. Overall the flavor was okay. The oxtail was soft and tender and went well with the yuka potatoes. I expected the dish to have more flavor than it did especially since it stated it was a garlic dish. The food wasn't bad, I would it a 3 out of 5. The service was not great. We waited a long time for someone to take our order and then kept waiting throughout our meal for assistance. I think the service could be better, there's potential. They do live music on Saturdays but we didn't stick around for that. The location is a good location and the restaurant is nice. I just think they need to have better service. There was only a total of maybe 6 people in the restaurant and there was 6 staff members around, there was definitely plenty of staff to go to the tables and check on the customers but they were too busy checking for reservations instead of the customers they had in the restaurant.

Thank you Theo and your amazing staff. We came in to celebrate my dad's 91st bday. Ok, the food....had the fried green tomatoes, the beets and crab cakes. Everything was so good. And the flavors were amazing but the beets stood out. Fan favorite. We had gumbo, catfish, oxtails, halibut and steak. The table was very quiet while we were eating because everyone was so into their dinner. Perfectly cooked and served. Not one complaint. This is such a great addition to the Kirkland food scene.

Location, decor, and service were good. The food was bland and forgettable. Overall, everything was pretty bland. We had three entrees so felt like we had a good sample ranging from fish, poultry, and a combo of the two. For what you will pay, it's not worth it in my opinion.

Being an African-American woman, it felt good being in a space where my ppl were the majority and not the minority. The food was top notch. The price and portion size was spot on. Already making plans to go back woth more of my friends and family.
I recently had dinner here with a certificate from Kickstarter. Now that I have eaten there I am so happy to have supported it from early on. The owner and everyone working there - server, bartender, chef were welcoming, personable and just contributed to an overall great experience. The food was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was great with live music that really added to the dinner, while not overshadowing conversation. I would highly recommend Arleanas for the food and the experience. I will be going back again.

One of the best offerings the East Side has. We've been there for dinner, brunch, and their fixed menu on Tuesday/Thursday and have had an excellent experience every time. Really different offerings from the usual fare in the area which I'm grateful for. They are not pulling punches on their cocktails, very boozy!
